Excellent find during an impromptu jaunt to Pomeroy! The owner was engaging, the staff were super helpful, and the food was... delicious! I had half of a Cali Chicken Club with a small Fall Salad. I was skeptical about barbecue sauce and avocado on thispanini but the combination was wonderful! This was my first time strolling down the streets of Pomeroy to wander in the cutelittle shops that overlook the river. Hit up this cute coffee shop on the way back from Mothman Festival. The people here were SO FRIENDLY! Great folks. So great... service, plus the food was excellent. Buffalo chicken panini was a win. Probably the best London Fog I?ve ever tasted. And Iknow it?s a small thing, but they had tons of different hot sauce on hand. Nice view of the river from the tables outside! Read more
Grabbed a snickerdoodle coffee cake, Cubano for the hubby, and a cafe mocha for me...great atmosphere and lovely outdoor... courtyard and riverbank gazebo made this stop on our way to Athens worth while --definitely on our list of places to grab a cupof java next time we are out this way! Read more
If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. The staff is super friendly. Or ding online is a breeze. And for anyone low carb... or sugar free the amount of flavors they offer is amazing. Truly. I have never been to a coffee shop that didn?t just have threebasic sugar free flavors. I haven?t tried any of the food but I?ve heard great things about it. This is definitely my newfavorite coffee place when I want to treat myself! Read more

This is my favorite spot for lunch. I live about 20 miles away and try to go 2 or 3 times a month. Pomeroy is a funky artsy town... on the Ohio River and River Roasters is a nice fit for the town. My favorite dish is the Lox & Bagel, it's not on the regularmenu, but it has been on the specials board everytime I have been there. The coffee is fantastic, they sell multiple styles ofwhole bean to take home and will grind it to your specifications, even Turkish grind. I definitely recommend that you try thisspot out. Read more
I truly think this may be my all time favorite coffee place! They have a wide selection of items on their menu and everything... I?ve had has been delicious. The service is fairly fast, the workers are so nice, and it has a very minimalist atmosphere thatseems to be all the rage these days, and there?s a perfect view of the river? I?m not sure it can get much better in Pomeroy! Ihave to say this is one of the best places in town! Read more
(Updated) My original review was from about a year ago! I really didn?t get a chance to experience River Roasters on my first... visit. After visiting the 2nd time and many more times, the wife and I really enjoy coming in and getting our Coffee/tea. Theyalso have great food! This coffee shop is located on Main St in Pomeroy Ohio, and if your looking to visit a one of a kind,unique Coffee shop then this is the place to come to. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I upgraded them from 4 stars to5. (Original Post) The wife and I have heard a lot of people talk about how great River Toasters Coffee is. We finally got achance to visit them yesterday morning. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff was very friendly. The wife got Coffee and Igot tea and we both got a snack with our drinks! We where really pleased with everything and would recommend River Roasters toanyone who is looking for a great local Coffee Shop! If your in the neighborhood or just passing by I would stop by and checkthem out! Read more
