It was a very disappointing date night. We waited 15 mins for a waiter to come to our table in which I had to get up and ask for... one. We ordered apps which were the spicy shrimp and citrus calamari. The spicy shrimp was not spicy at all and drenched inbutter. We ordered the rib eye (medium) and wharfs combo for entrees. WOW! The ribeye was way over cooked and tasteless- myhusband is a steak enthusiast and he was not happy. The wharfs combo ( a combination of shrimp, scallops, clams, cod, and crabcab with an additional $20 lobster tail) was extremely dry and cold. The vegetables that were accompanied by the meal weredehydrated and tasted as if it was sitting under a lamp for hours. We noticed the manager in a red shirt walking around totables asking how the meals were to other customers, but did not once look our way or walked to our table. This place is fantastic. We just had an amazing seafood dishs. Not sure if someone new took over or new chief but since covid ,... the quality of food and quantity for the price is hands down the best . Food was delicious . Beautiful restaurant, great food and great service. Got a nice table by the window with a spectacular view of the sunset. Our... server, Sam, was very knowledgeable and attentive too. The fried dough that they bring out atonce you're seated was soooo good! Read more

The complementary hush puppies and garlic bread started the evening off with a real bang. They are delicious. We got the tuna... poke as an appie, and was NOT disappointed! The stuffed salmon and stuffed shrimp were both tasty- veggies could have beenbetter. We decided we couldn?t leave without trying the clam chowder, but sadly that left something to be desired. second time here and the place still sparked joy... the kids were fighting over the hushpuppies... our server overheard it and... approached our table to tell us she's getting more from the kitchen... talk about excellent service... the citrus calamari as weremembered was also a treat... i have never tasted a calamari served like that... with pesto and mandarin or micro oranges...unbelievable flavors... ordered pasta vongole... burger and fries... filet mignon... some seafood dish i can't remember... theexperience was more than enough... the drinks were also good... a real go-to when in point pleasant... This was a wonderful experience. I was given a few gift cards for this company. And we wanted to try them out before the summer... season started. This area is very busy during the summer and we wanted to enjoy ourselves without the crowds. Smart move. We gotan amazing seat right at the bay on a beautiful late spring evening. The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome. We hadthe seafood combo and the almond crusted chicken. Well done to perfection on both dishes. The desserts were incredible! We hadthe key lime pie and the stormy sea chocolate mousse cake. Spencer was our server and she was training Alayana. (So sorry if Imiss spelled your name) Who did an amazing job for her second day. Fantastic Food! Arrived Yesterday (Sunday) around 4:30 and had a minimal wait. For apps my husband and I got the shrimp and... spinach dip and the Buffalo cauliflower bites...both were fresh, hot and flavorful. The complimentary coleslaw and fritters weregood as well. For dinner we both got the Wharfside combo ( broiled) with the roasted potatoes....seafood was very fresh, wethoroughly enjoyed everything we got. Dinners also came with choice of soup or salad....my husband got the NE Clam Chowder whichhe commented was LOADED WITH CLAMS, I got the salad. Also service was ON POINT! The patio area was airy with great outdoor heating for these times of CoVid on New Years Day. Great view of the Manasquan Inlet,... and excellent food/service. This restaurant has always pleased us in our 21 years of visiting over holidays. So glad HurricaneSandy and others haven't taken away this treasure! Read more
