JERSEY SHORE BBQ POINT PLEASANT N.J. Sat outside on a beautiful September afternoon enjoying the day with my mom. I asked our... server JAKE to surprise me with a hamburger of his liking. He prepared a (10oz) JSBBQ MACHO LONGHORN BURGER topped with choppedbrisket, grilled onions, added frizzled onions, jalapenos, with pepper jack cheese served on Joe Leone's brioche bun. Mom had a(10oz) MACHO Blue Cheese Burger. For sides we choose coleslaw, mac & cheese and tater tots. Finished things off with key limepie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I wasn't sure what to expect being from Texas. And the menu is a bit of a mix with both pizzas and BBQ. But these guys are... killing it. Everything was great (less too much dressing on the cezar salad). Service was good. Portions were huge, so 2 peoplecould split the 2 meat plate. Read more
This is worth the drive if you live far. Shrimp scampi pizza. Gives DeLorenzo's from Trenton a run for it's money, which is... pretty spectacular.They have an amazing oven. Outstanding service and food. 1st time and won't be the last I can't wait to check out the pizza and next time will get brisket... on it's own. The burger was amazing it was actually better then Barnacle Bills. The brussle sprouts were charred and amazing andthe shrimp was also fantastic. All in all don't even bother cooking dinner just come here if your in area. Lots of flavor very,very welcoming and friendly atmosphere which seems to be the norm at the local restaurant in Point Pleasant. After your doneeating take a walk on boardwalk 5 minutes away.
