It was Saturday evening so we had about a 15 minute wait for a table which was not bad and what they estimated for us. The food... was fresh and was delicious, the portions were more than adequate. Pricing more than fair for the portion size. Only issue thewait staff was not attenuative to ask if we needed more drinks. We were starving when we arrived in town and made it to the boardwalk, and this was the first place we saw. The service was very... friendly and attentive. The food was decent. This is the first time we have been. We have been going to the boardwalk for years almost every weekend and never tried this... place. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. We walked right in, no wait on a Saturday in August!! The food was delicious. Wegot the calamari, pretzels, salmon with Broccoli and onion rings and soft shell crab ???? sandwich. Terrible. After being seated waited 20 Minutes to order drinks and food. And the place wasn?t packed. After that we waited 30... minutes and didn?t even get the appetizer. In the meanwhile while people that got there after us had their food already. Nomanager tô be found either. The worst food I've ever eaten. The food had no flavor, I ordered a plate of fried shrimp with fries and my boyfriend a plate of... meat to the BBQ sauce and nothing tasted I put salt on it and it still didn't taste good. Very bad experience I was hungry and Ijust wanted to cry because I waited around 40 minutes to eat and when they brought me the food I couldn't eat. We started with the ahi tuna, which was great. Had the soft shelled crab sandwich and would definitely order it again. My... girlfriend had the griddle crab sandwich which she enjoyed. I had early dinner at Jake's. I have to say that I was not impressed with the Lobster roll mostly because of the bread they... used. It was just a regular hoagie roll with the lobster salad inside. It was dry, and did not pair well with the lobsterinside. The wait staff was friendly, and we did not have to wait too long for our food. Read more
