Decidedly unfriendly..I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. We have been coming here for years, and have... overlooked the occasionally impersonal service for the sake of the pleasant location and overall good menu..After today thoughwe are regrettably ending our business here. It was quiet today when we visited (after a 30 minute trip mind you, which I didmake known). A woman who appeared to be the manager rudely told us we could not be served at an outdoor table (admittedly withits chairs stacked) right next to those already in service. I thoughT she objected to our golden retriever, who was barking.a little (the restaurant IS pet-friendly and already had two dogs in attendance). She said that was no problem, but that "therewasn't sufficient staff" for that one small table...very hard to believe, and no excuse.to begin with...She did offer a tinytable, right next to the other dogs -which was preposterous, and didn't bother to suggest we wait till one of the "in service"tables was free..I found this to be stubborn and disrespectful behavior to a loyal customer..A pity! I find this to be the best dining experience, especially for dinner, in a 20 mile radius. Friendly helpful staff, lovely... atmosphere without being pretentious, great prices and value and really, really great food. I have had several of the dinnerspecials. They have Goulash occasionally and it rivals my Moms. Best Chicken Picatta I think I ever had, and the Francese iswonderful. Pairs with FRESH vegetables, rice of the day or various types of potatoes.
