Went this past Saturday, this place is a regular favorite of mine. Server was very friendly and got us our drinks very promptly,... he was very efficient and provided an excellent experience. The person I was with ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll and the ShrimpTempura Roll, both of which he said were excellent. I got the Fort Gratiot roll (I love the sweet and savory flavor), along withthe clear soup, both were amazing. The price was very reasonable, about $18 per person, which is quite low for that high qualityof sushi. You can watch them make the sushi if you sit at the sushi bar like we did. My first time at this type of restaurant and LOVED it. Our chef was the best, funny, engaging and a great personality. Food was... excellent with large portions and the taste was something out of this world. Went there for my birthday and they were fantasticabout it and actually sang happy birthday to me and got the whole restaurant to join in. We will definitely be going back. Read more

overall experience: 4.5/5 -Meal: Hibachi Dinner was really good but my beef was a tad bit overcooked, I asked for medium (server... made a note of it) and received well done. The service was excellent, the food was perfectly cooked, the ambiance was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing, our teppanyaki chef... was very skilled. It is a great "go-to" for a very nice evening out. Definitely worth the money. My only small complaint wasthat all three of our salads were swimming in dressing (bowls were 1/3 filled with dressing). Something they *cannot* control:for as beautiful as the dining area was, most of the customers dressed as if they were on their way to watch a high schoolfootball game or clean their garage.
