Update 10/31 at new location: the space is very strange and dark. The margarita was watered-down and flavorless. Doesn't seem... like an inviting place. Chorizo queso was very tasty, as was the fried ice cream. The meal itself was just ok, with someportions being over-flavored while others lacked much in the way of flavoring. Read more

I like to see improvements and maybe this post will be obsolete in a month. But definitely not impressed with this restaurant.... The quantity of the food is enormous, but the quality is kind of poor. I had charro, stewed beans with bacon and spices, andthat's like one of their main sides. It tasted old and heated in the microwave. Why not have that made fresh on a daily basis?And when I mean made fresh, like soak the beans the day before, then put everything in a crock pot or however they make it inthe morning prep? Other people in our group left like half their beans and rice. The main dishes were only half eaten. I thinkfor any restaurant, the goal should be quality and serving sizes that are not too excessive. I mean really, how many of us takehome a full platter of food from our serving and then eat it in the next few days? Seems like a waste of money on the restaurantside for food. They could offer regular portion size where nothing is taken home in clam shell boxes, and then an extra servingsize for those who want it free of charge, because that's basically what they're doing now. The waitress who said she was alsothe owner was very confrontational and very difficult to work with. Maybe she was just really stressed, but they're reallyweren't that many people in the restaurant so who knows. If I was her, I would definitely start watching some Dave Ramseyepisodes to see what I could do better in my restaurant. Read more

I really loved this restaurant. The food tasted amazing and the server was so accommodating with the requests we had especially... when there was a part of our order wrong. I wished I would?ve thought to take a picture before we devoured our meals! Seriously the BEST Mexican from Idaho to Utah. The... portions are HUGE and very reasonably priced. Server Johnny was impeccable. Young people typically don?t have great customerservice skills but this guy does. Very professional manner. The restaurant is spotless yet busy. A lovely lunch. I was not pleased at all while I was dining at this Mexican restaurant. I am not into chips out of the bag!!! Furthermore there... was too much salt in the burrito I ordered. I don?t know if it was in the meat or the sauce but I had a sodium headache allnight long. I was up drinking water all through the night having cotton mouth. I know it was the food because I wanted to waitfor dinner, I had nothing to eat during the day except carrot ???? juice and that has no sodium at all. Basically it allstarted with the chips with my disappointment then it went downhill from there. I would suggest that the restaurant shouldcheck the amount of salt you put in your food because you should be aware that not everyone has a high tolerance of sodium. Ibrought over half of the burrito ???? home and I am not going to finish it either?see photo. Overall, I will never go backunless they start frying their chips in house!!
