While our meals were very good, we were treated very poorly by the staff. After calling to make a reservation, I was told that... the bar area is first come, first served. We arrived in the bar to take a table and we?re told that we actually had to check inwith the hostess to be seated at the bar?..so NOT first come first served. But more importantly, the hostess made me feel likea fool for trying to take a seat. Our waitress was equally rude to us when my husband asked for his burger to be cooked alittle more on the well side. There was not much hospitality to be had at Six Burner Bistro! Six Burner Bistro is consistently good. The crab and corn chowder is delicious. The steak fries were awesome, and the mussels... were tasty. Good drinks, good value. Read more
Great little place. Had one of their dinner specials of the evening which was lobster over homemade pasta with a delicious... sauce. However, the lobster was obviously previously frozen and beyond over cooked. That part of the meal was flavorless andchewy. Very disappointing. Hey folks, this is New England?..we know fresh lobster! One of our favorite Friday night spots. Last night's charcuterie board was lovely and the chef-made pickle stole the show. Nice... job Chef Sam. Bobby's Manhattan's are also the best start to the weekend. We love this place. Read more
I love that this place has a soup and half sandwich option for lunch because there's so many soups to choose from and their... sandwiches are incredible. I've had the blackened chicken Philly 2x now and I can't believe how much flavor is packed into eachbite. HIGHLY recommend checking them out if you haven't already. Read more
Our first time here, on a recommendation from our Niece. From start to finish the food was fabulous. The atmosphere is so cozy... and quaint - a bit of an upscale, relaxed atmosphere. They even serve my favorite brand of tea which no other restaurant serves(Red Rose). We will recommend this place to everyone and definitely will return. Read more
Atmosphere, food and drink was great! Only reason I didn?t give 5 stars was because I ordered medium rare filet and received... medium. We got the dumplings and stuffed clams for appetizers. My filet and his scallops were delicious. We also shared thecream brûlée which was fantastic! I would definitely go back! Read more
