Food for the most part was good. Our waiter was a little sluggish on getting things,but they were slammed as well with... homecoming and leaf peepers as well. Loved the atmosphere as it was family friendly and sorta old dinner seating feel, which Ilike. Definitely eat there again hopefully when its not so busy this time. Read more
What an awesome find this was! Mac n cheese was fantastic, my friend enjoyed his burger also. Love that they had curly fries too... - they are a rare find it seems. We were stuffed but our server (I forget his name) sold us on the homemade toll house pie fordessert and it was soooo good! Read more
I didn?t really get any good photos, but we loved it here! Our bartender Katie was super nice, and had a great sense of humor.... We had nachos with chili- highly recommend!! We called ahead to make sure they could seat 7 people. We sat down got our drinks then it was an hour before the server came... back to take our order. We had to actually ask for him. Idc how the drinks were wrong or how the food was off I get that it'snot the servers fault and he did fix it. The fries had no flavor or salt, food was just very bland. And we had to keep askingfor our server. he just never came back. This place is always packed so maybe I just ordered the wrong plate? But my family hadmany other dishes and didn't seem too impressed with the seafood and sides. I had young children getting antsy and we were nevertold about the crackers cheese or bread that was available nor did they offer us any of the crayons or coloring stuff by thedoor. I get that it's "serve yourself" but how would we know that without being told? We just happened to see while leaving manytimes to stretch our legs while waiting in-between everything. I don't think our server came to our table once without us havingto search for him. This is my home town, we recently moved here and I had my family down from VT to try this place with us forthe first time. But after last night I don't think we will be back. Excellent. We always go all 12 of us when we visit NH. Large plates of food. Complimentary cheese,crackers, and bread. Menu is... very diverse. Tim our waiter was a riot and gave excellent service. Wow! Downstairs bar is the place to be! Friendly staff and customers. Food is outrageous! Pork Nachos as an app (note: Nachos... are HUGE, ordered a 1/2 serving to split and it was easily enough for 4-6 people - yes the 1/2 size!) And they were a tastesensation. So my niece and her boyfriend are heading to down to Virginia so she can get her master's degree. We were both up in the lakes... region and decided to meet for dinner at the Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill because it looked like a fun place to go to. We werewaited on by the owner's daughter who is so sweet and very friendly (great waitress ????). The menu has a lot of choices so itwas hard to choose. Eventually we ordered dinner which Jake got the pulled pork panini, Kerra a Caesar salad with added buffalochicken tenders, Amanda the pulled pork nachos, and I got the sautéed chicken tortellini. The service was fast, the food hot,and super delicious ????. This was a fun place to go, maybe next time we can eat outside. Will definitely be back though. Read more
We went to the lucky dog for our hockey team post game dinner and I can?t say enough about this establishment. The staff was... amazing. The food was great. The drinks were served quickly. I?m so glad I found this place and patty was able to accommodateus!!!! Read more
