Reviews for Asian Duck in Plymouth, MN
What do you call it when someone throws a chopstick at you and you move your head out of the way just in time? ???? An Asian... Duck ???? Maybe that?s where this restaurant got its name. Or maybe its related to a menu item? hmm? Personally, I suspect fowlplay ???? Here?s the dinner lineup: Drunken Noodles ???? ???? Wide noodles stir fry with eggs, tomato, onions, bell peppers, cabbage and Thai basil Garlic Pepper Stir Fry ???? ???? Broccoli, green beans, carrots, cabbage and pea pods wok tossed in achef special garlic pepper sauce Crispy Calamari ???? ???? Lightly battered then flash fried and served with a sweet Thai chilisauce From Asian Duck in Plymouth This place is one of few I frequent for asian fare ???? It is finely priced and reasonablyauthentic, offering a variety of options, from pho to curry to stir fry ???? This time I tried the garlic dish?Who doesn?t likegarlic, right?! ???? The sauce satisfied with craveable flavor and complexity. Vegetables were done well, and the chicken wastender ???? Only complaint was the slight lack of heat in temperature ???? My dining brother bought into the drunken noodles, which I have had before ???? Love these?very rich and hearty, a noodle lover should never say no ?? And the crispy calamari waspretty cool! I don?t eat this creature all too often, but it was a fun appetizer to outline an awesome meal ???? This place iskinda hidden, but it?s a good first step into asian cuisine for those who may have only had orange chicken;) Don?t be afraid tostop by and give it a try! Read more
Shrimp was bad in our garlic pepper dish. The replacement wasn't much better and they charged us for both. The appetizers came... after the entrees. Most food was mediocre at best. Rice was cold. The place was dirty and the tables sticky. The restrooms werefilthy. Staff kids were running around. Terrible experience. Never going back. Read more
Had the Duck Pad Thai and bao bao buns. The balance between the noodles, sauce and fresh veggies on top were perfect. The... steamed buns we're so soft. I also had the Thai tea which was sweet and delicious! Not sure how long this place has been open, but I'm so glad there's a good Thai place in Plymouth! Read more
We were unfortunately a little disappointed, we ordered takeout, prices were a little steep but we had heard good things. One of... the items we ordered was a stir fry, we paid extra to add beef to it, but received chicken instead. We also ordered thechicken satay with peanut dipping sauce, there were 6 chicken skewers which was great but only maybe 1 tablespoon of the peanutdipping sauce which seemed disproportionate. This is a wonderful place with great food and service. The $11 lunch menu has a nice variety of options. We were there at 1:00... pm and had the place to ourselves. So if social distancing is a concern, it wasn?t a problem for us. Read more
Definitely recommend to try. Not a big fan of the spring rolls but they do a different version of pad thai for those that are... gluten free. You can ask for the gluten free soy sauce to be added if you want. ???? I don't have onions or scallions on my padthai. Just eggs and ????. Had tofu on this as well. Read more
Asian duck completely updated their menu and now it includes more dishes with strong influence of traditional Chinese kitchen.... We ordered 5 or 6 appetizers include spring and egg rolls, fried dumplings and cranberry wontons, in addition our group of fiveordered different entries and nobody was disappointed with our orders. Their wine list is big, but not huge, and they havenumber of domestic and imported beer. Asian Duck service is fast, pleasant and attentive. If you ever visited this places Iwould recommend you to give them a second chance and I hope you won?t be disappointed. Read more
