Views from the bar are wonderful. The food was excellent. And the drinks were off the charts! But the effervescent smile of the... owners make this place a "must". Wish it was closer to home. Read more

Travellers, the sand castle lounge is a wonderful restaurant in Plymouth that features Jamaican cuisine along with some New... England standards. What is so impressive it that so much of the food is homemade and it tastes like it is. The classic NewEngland fare, like the clam chowder, can hold itself up next to any clam chowder in New England. But it is the Jamaican foodthat is so delicious. The oxtail in brown gravy or the chicken in brown gravy are amazing. And the rice and beans and Mac andcheese are a great choice for this lovely stew. The servings are generous too. There was a dj playing Jamaican music ad somenights there is live music. There is a fun atmosphere here and you can?t help but sway to the music. Service is with a smile.Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - excellent food, terrific ambiance Read more

Taste of Jamaica right here in Plymouth, MA. Some of the best Curry goat and Ox Tail I ever had. Big portions. Even better than... I had on the island of Jamaica. Great friendly service. I will be returning for more! Read more

OK, so this place was AWESOME! First of all, they totally made me some great food. (My daughter said to try the meatballs!) You... should know that I have multiple food allergies AND this place totally worked with it. They were super kid friendly and hadsuperior ocean views. (My other daughter wanted to make sure that I told you all that Open Mic night was great too! ???????)????????, without complaint from my family, from ages 8 to 69! ???? Read more

I would never go back here. I was a first time visitor to Plymouth Beach and wanted to grab something quickly. First of all, the... bar is TINY! The moment I walked in I was complimented before being greeted, only to later be aggressively told to get somethingon the menu that went against my dietary restrictions even though there was ?only a little bit? of what I was allergic to in thedish. The dish was small but for a hefty price and I felt like the woman was trying to manipulate me and my friend into buyingit when I only went in for a quick snack. She would not stop talking and trying to convince me and then my friend that I HAD toget the dish, with some force. I genuinely felt so uncomfortable I could not wait to leave. Do not spend your money here . Read more

We visited Sand Castle Lounge to celebrate my birthday and I can't wait to return! Tucked behind an unassuming hotel, the... outdoor dining space has an amazing view, a great vibe and the kitchen/bar offer delicious food and drink. We had the JamaicanRum Punch and beef patties to start, followed by the Jerk Chicken entree with rice and beans, and even some plantains. Everything was cooked just right and the drinks were vacation in a cup! The staff was friendly and accommodating and theThursday Night Reggae was the perfect way to spend my birthday! Thank you Sherene! Read more

Huge improvement. It appears the lounge was taken over by new people since my last visit and they are doing a wonderful job. Not... sure of their names but I believe they are a family from Jamaican. The hospitality, professionalism and service they provided wastruly top notch and they made huge upgrades to the food menu. The entire staff were very polite and friendly while accommodatingus anyway they could. Looking forward to visiting again, great spot to sit on the beach and listen to live music. Read more
