Great place - some of the best gluten free/ vegan baked goods we've ever had (if not the very best). Tender, moist, tasty - I... never would've guessed it was gluten free or vegan if it didn't say so. Very impressed. Also - not too sweet, unlike a lot ofbakeries, they get it just right. Coffee is pretty good too. Pricey but definitely worth it. Read more

I almost stopped eating in the restaurant to write this review and tell everyone how amazing the food is. I have never eaten... somewhere that is dedicated gluten free and I couldn't believe all the choices. The prices might seem high but when you comparethem to the quality that you're being served, it's so worth it. I had the mac and cheese, grilled cheese, garlic bread, and achocolate chunk cookie. Everything was absolutely delicious and I wish there was a place like this in Oklahoma where I live! Read more

We are from Princeton, NJ, and we traveled nearby to go to a concert at the Caramoor Music Festival. On our way to our... destination, we found this restaurant on Happy Cow. In the end, we ended up taking most of our meals here (three!), just becauseof the sheer quality and diversity of the offerings. This is an amazing vegan restaurant. It is vegan, local,gluten-free. Strongly recommend the paninis. I got the roasted vegetable one with the peashoot guac, my partner got the greenpesto ? they each tasted like their own thing, but both were so divine they were eaten before I could take a photo. We orderedthem again and again. But we also loved: The Kale-Caesar Salad, the lasagna, the grilled cheese sandwich, the fresh cut fruits. We can't wait to try more. On our third visit, we got to meet the owners. It turns out the founder, Jyoti Tewani, is thisincredibly caring and thoughtful person, who had been in the kitchen for every one of our meals, and she vets every productcarefully. For instance, she vets the product they sell off the shelves. She tastes every batch of juices that her staff makes. The restaurant is entirely run by family, each with their own purpose. (And the staff that isn't family is very sweet too!) Weare looking forward to coming back on our next vacation in the area. Sometimes rather than going to many different restaurants,it's nice to find one good one and hit it up over and over again! This place is worth a detour on its own. Check it out! Read more

Delicious, Whole, 100% awesome-for-you food. Now, with so few vegan options throughout the Valley, it would be easy to give ANY... semi-decent restaurant five stars? ?But the high praise for Root2Rise is WELL DESERVED. This is a world-class, gluten free, vegan, organic, local eatery serving some of the best cuisine my partner and I have ever tried any where. We have been herethree times in two days and can?t wait to come back. This is a family owned and operated, yet incredibly polished, restaurantworthy of your time and attention. Your tastebuds will thank you! Read more

The kale quinoa cesear salad is amazing. It has a bit of a lemon taste which I love. The Mac and cheese was definitely not... typical. Kind of mushy and lacked flavor. The vegetable panini was good, we had the basil pesto and pink hummus. Both weregood Bagels are good, crunch on outside and soft on the inside. Carrot muffin was moist. Avocado toast was interesting. Lots ofavocado and a different flavor to it, garlic maybe? Read more

Vegan, gluten-free whole foods! It?s a dream to have an entire menu to peruse, and know it will all be good. Plus a bakery case... filled with items that are free of refined sugars (but not flavor.) I ordered a scone and Mulligatawny soup. Both were yummy. For future reference, portion sizes seemed smaller than I prefer for a meal, so I would want to order multiple things (friendsgot Dandan Noodles, Beet burger, and pizza - all looked delicious but not enough were I hungry and looking for a full meal.Personal preference - keeping in mind I?m a runner, so might eat more than someone who?s sedentary.) We sat outside, bringingchairs together as tables were two-tops, and loved everything. Friendly counter service, all single-use serving containers, 100%nutritious and flavorful. Read more

This place is amazing - my husband has celiac and he ordered a panini. It was made with the most amazing gluten free bread we... have ever had. It was a baguette, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, absolutely delicious! I had the mulligatawny, which was also divine. We will be back for certain, worth the drive from CT. Editing my original review - we just stoppedthere again and it is still fantastic. We had the mushroom toast, the vegetable panini again (that bread!) and tried thebrownie and chocolate chip cookie. All gluten free, vegan and delicious! Read more
