Had Black Garlic ramen with thin noodle and mild spicy, it was delicious! Cha-su and the rib are very tender, the egg is super... good. Soup is not too salty but flavorful. Service is good and quick. The price is reasonable. We will come back soon! Read more
This restaurant deserves more stars than it has. The staff was excellent They have a good vegetarian broth and fried tofu as a... topping option! (we can?t go to ramen places without a veggie broth option) The black garlic tonkatsu broth was great I likethat ajitama (eggs) come standard and you can tell they were marinated, which I appreciate. The ambiance was lovely No, it?s nota Japanese ramen staple like Mensho or Ippudo, but if that?s what you?re looking for then it?s best you travel the 45min intothe city, wait in a line, and go get that. This place is great. We will certainly be returning. :-) P.s. Next time I?m going totry to order a black garlic ramen with the tofu instead of pork. I think that could be really tasty? Read more
Located near the new 99 Ranch (Pleasanton, across the street from the San Francisco Premium outlet mall). Ramen Gaga replaced... the former Jinya Ramen. Beautiful decor, full bar and indoor fireplace. Great selection of Japanese appetizers and flavorfulramen assortment. Asparagus tempura - full stocks of fresh asparagus, lightly battered and paired with delicious dipping sauce, soy sauce/mirin. Highly recommend! Each dish can be customized, selecting type of noodles (thin or curly) spice level (mild, medium, hot). Please note that they can refill noodles only, don?t waste good broth! Crazy ramen Wagyu tomato- delicioustomato tonkotsu broth with two soft boiled eggs, green onions, bamboo shoots, wood ear fungus, and thin slices of shredded Wagyubeef. This is the best item! There seems to be only one waiter who receives orders. The rest are just bringing the dishes. Which is bizarre for a busy place... like this. While our first orders came fast, when i wanted to ask for a garlic oil and another ramen, it took around 20 minutesfor the waiter to come. By the time he came, we were almost finished with our ramens so garlic oil was not needed. The otherRamen we wanted to order was because we ordered one with bamboo shots and the rest without. When they were brought, the waiterscouldn't tell which is one was what and so the person who cant' stand bamboo shots ended up with one that had it. So we wantedto order a new one and by the time we could order it, everyone else was almost done with their food. What a bad experience. Iprobably would not come here again. Read more
