Pretty easy to find some great spirits with 400 bottles of whiskey behind the bar. Excellent bar to stop at

Work get together got us all to Beer Baron. Parking wasn’t too bad find as the parking lot right behind can serve the purpose... ( enforced 3 Hour parking from 9AM to 6PM). Checked in and got seated at the table by the window. We were a group of 3 when wegot in and folks kept dropping in and we ended up being 7 in the group. This review would not be about the alcohol ( as Idon’t consume it) rather is about the food and the ambience. The place was a bit slow when we got in though in no time itpicked up pace. To begin with folks ordered alcohol and I happened to get a ginger ale. We started on the food side with anorder of the Chipotle BBQ wings. Followed that up with an order of Nachos and another order of the wings though these would behalf and half of chipotle bbq and buffalo Siracha sauce. I didn’t try the wings though I was told they were a 10 on 10 as faras taste and quality was concerned. The place kept getting busy and as well we started hearing someone by the corner strumminga guitar and singing country music which definitely added to the ambience. Been there for a while we ordered another set ofNachos times 2 and along with it a couple of vegan fries. The Nachos were a definite hit and they would be the first ones to bewiped clean from the table and we did end up ordering another one of those. The vegan fries were fresh and tasty as well. Diddevour those as a group and I think we ended up repeating a couple of those as well. All in all great vibes great food anddefinitely should be in your list to sit and eat/drink there in case you happen to be around. Good times guaranteed!! Read more

Tried this spot out on our brief visit to area. Lived up to local reviews. Great whiskey cocktails, dishes and service. Nice... evening, intimate ambience inside & outside and they even had a DJ later on. We ended up strolling the Main Street 1st of MonthEvent with happy bellies and a nice buzz :D (I will also note they had the best cheese curds in CA since my adventures in WI) Read more

I had their short rib birria tacos and they were amazing. For sharing my friend and i got their duck fat fries. To drink, i had... a Foggy something or other. It was purple and it had a pretty flower on top. I went back again the same week i was there for mybirthday! Read more

Great whiskey selection. Felt like the server unfortunately didn’t really know anything about the Great Wall of bourbon.... Service seemed a little scattered in terms of who was helping us/getting silverware/napkins/plates… but food was good, servicewas polite/accommodating, and whiskey flights w were reasonably priced (it felt like they were closing up early around usthough). This place kept getting recommended for food options in the Pleasanton Area. And I see why. We went on a Saturday around 7 pm.... No reservations need. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating. They cleaned a table and we were seatedpromptly. Mike was our server and he was great. He recommended a Torpedo (which is on the secret menu) for Honey and the #12Secret Swami’s IPA for me. Both were great drinks. We ordered wings as an appetizer with the chipotle bbq sauce on the sideinstead of. The sauce was a little spicy so if you're not into spices try it on the side. Honey has the Burger, (Mike'srecommendation) and I had the chicken sandwich. Both were good. We had better burgers, but this burger was good. The duck fatfries are amazing. They are light and crispy and have a good flavor to them. Would recommend. We were looking at their brunchmenu and saw they had breakfast tacos, chicken and waffles, and bottomless mimosas so we came back with friends the next weekendfor brunch. And Mike was our server again. Mimosas were on point, they ran out of guava but the orange and pineapple weregood. In my opinion, dinner was better than brunch. I had a breakfast burrito and it could use a little more flavor. Honey anda friend had the chicken and waffles and they said the same. Our last friend had a burger and came to the same conclusion ashoney did for dinner. But the mimosas are truly bottomless and we had 3-4 each and felt good after. Mike was a great server andmade the experience that much better. Read more
