Reviews for ANNACHIKADAI in Pleasanton, CA
great taste of home. their mutton kola urundai and masala dosa were absolutely delicious
Had the worst experience with this food. South indian non-vegetarian food should always be fresh. Instead they serve frozen... Parotta and Idiyappam from the Grocery store. I may as well get it from the store instead of coming to this restaurant. If thechef is that lazy and takes such shortcuts to make simple fresh food, how can we trust other items on the menu to be fresh? Read more

Not worth a price but food was good. $30 for Non Veg meal and $25 for veg meal is too high . Would prefer buffet next time... where we have lot of choices and decent taste ! Read more
Good vadacurry dosa but felt some sand kind of while chewing. Tomato chutney is good. Idayappams with coconut milk and Veg... Kurma was good. Not so comfortable for indoor dining. Good to see food on banana leaf and paper plates instead of plastic orstyrofoam ones. Read more
Even though we went late in the evening, an hour before closing, the food was still fresh and the service was extremely... hospitable. The food was delicious and the Mutton Pirattal deserves a special call out. Would definitely recommend. Read more
It was not at all a good experience. This was the first time I visited this restaurant. We ordered vegetable biryani, tawa... fish, parathha with kurma and pineapple kesari. None of the dishes other than the kesari meets the bare minimumstandard. Vegetable biryani lacked flavor, the carrot pieces were too big to get cooked. The raita was too salty, probably tomake for the taste of biriyany :( Tawa fish was salty and too dry. It was almost chewing plastic. But the spices used seemed tobe good, flavorful. Parathas were good, had good crispy layers but the taste of the kurma murdered the combo. The pineapplekesari was very tasty, perfect and not too sweet. Pineapple chunks helped with the flavor and texture. I found the place to beexpensive for the quantity served. Before we left the restaurant, we came across the restaurant owner who asked for ourfeedback. I did provide my candid feedback about food and service. She mentioned the restaurant serves food from Tamilnadu, morespecifically Madurai. She also mentioned that our choice of order was not the best. To be frank, I have had food from Madurairestaurants in past and experience was much better. Read more
