Was told he forgot the second 20 oz Mountain Dew, which I said was fine, that has happened with this place more than once, and I... was just hungry, so then I came inside and opened the pizza box to find the pizza crushed up and the box of the breadstickslooked like someone had sat on them. AVOID THIS LOCATION. Like previous reviews, I have a HUGE problem with a restaurant not following proper safety precautions... during a pandemic.... or just standard restaurant sanitation guidelines. Not one single employee was wearing a mask. Not onesingle employee was wearing gloves. There were no hair coverings, but to make matters worse, several of the employees had longhair that was loose or tied loosely. I noticed two of the employees chewing gum while prepping the food. I observed one employeewho was walking back and forth between making the dough and eating something that was sitting on the prep area behind the boxes.There were probably 8 teenagers in there working & no one seemed to be in any position of authority. When I arrived to pick upmy order, the little girl at the register couldn't find it, as I was standing there another customer comes back in the store toreturn a pizza that was given to him by mistake....my pizza... Ok, simple mistake..... BUT this girl just laughs and then triesto hand it to me! Ummm the box had gone OUTSIDE with another customer who had OPENED it and she's trying to give that to me likeit's no problem. That's a PROBLEM, even if we weren't in a pandemic that is against SO MANY health code regulations. I toldher I wasn't taking that & that it needed to be remade, which they did without argument, BUT if I hadn't been standing there asthe other customer came back in with my order, then it is quite obvious that she would have just sat it on the shelf and handedto me when I came in & I wouldn't have known. That's scary. Seriously. In the town that I live in, where I normally go to PapaJohn's, ALL employees wear masks & gloves, and I am confident something like this would never happen. Maybe I'm the only one who cares about this, but considering we are in the middle of a pandemic and not a single person was... wearing a mask in the store makes me know I won't return. The pizza is only so-so not the fault of this particular store. Neverbeen a huge PJ fan, only ordered out of convenience tonight. The staff were friendly and all greeted with smiles and hellos, butI will not return to a location serving and prepping my food who aren't wearing masks at this time. I made an online order tonight since they stopped delivering in my area. The pizza tracker said my order was ready when I... arrived at the store. When I walked in, there was an employee taking a phone order and two employees next to her talking aboutthe delivery area shrinking. One of the two employees talking to each other told me that the employee taking the phone orderwould be right with me. All they had to do was ask about my order and I would have told them it was online and paid foralready. It just needed to be picked up. Five to ten minutes go by while I'm sitting on the bench in the lobby and not once didanyone ask me about my order. I got up and asked if my pizza was ready or that I wanted my money back. She went into thekitchen and retrieved my order that was ready for pickup. Horrible customer service. Read more
I?ve always loved Papa John?s pizza. Delivery can be hit or miss though. One driver called out one night and 2 hours later we... still didn?t have our pizza. We asked for a refund and they did give us our money back. Everyone was very nice about it. I knowwhat it?s like when people call out?it throws everything off. I would just go with carry out next time but I will order fromthem again. Read more
Have had papa John?s before and this just tasted nasty like a frozen pizza that they heated up will never order from there again
