I guess this poor choice is my own fault. On a recent trip to LA, I wanted a non-hotel breakfast. I went on line to look at... menus. I was intrigued by the menu offered at Hash in Playa Vista. The menu looked extensive and they offered a Chilaquilesbreakfast. I was so disappointed the last time I ordered this in a restaurant, I wanted to give it a try. So I drove over andparked in a nearly empty multi-story parking garage. I found the restaurant and discovered there was only outdoor seating. Itwas a nice day and I was okay with that. Normally, when I order Chilaquiles, I always ask for them with shredded chicken. If isa favorite combination of mine. So, at HASH they offer a Chiquitas & Grigos Chilaquiles dish with a protein of your choice. Iasked for shredded chicken, but chicken was not a protein they served. I looked at the list of proteins and asked for the?roasted Turkey breast?. I thought that should be very similar to chicken. Boy, was I wrong! I was actually served myChilaquiles with diced Turkey cold cuts! The interesting thing is I recall the dish was quite tasty with the tortilla chips inchili verde sauce with scrambled eggs, pickled onions and the sauces, but I could not get over the fact the roasted Turkeybreast was diced deli Turkey. I did eat about half of the dish, but just avoided the diced deli meat! I was really disappointedin my decision to try the HASH restaurant due to this dish. To add further insult to injury, I could not have been there formore than 30-40 and I had to pay $6 in the mostly empty parking garage. NEVER again! Read more

The chilaquiles, burrito and benedict are so delicious! Do try the OJ and watermelon lemonade. Super refreshing during the... summer months. Extra star for tasty vegeterian/vegan options. Read more

Food was absolutely phenomenal. Dont be turned off if you see a line on approach. It's a small place with outdoor seating. I... promise it's worth the wait. The pineapple upside down pancakes were not only sweet and succulent, but FLUFFY AS HECK andremained warm through the entirety of the meal. Same deal with the chilequiles! All the flavors were robust and meshed welltogether. Try it with the braised beef. Savory greatness! Will be back on my next LA trip! Read more

This food was amazing af! My friend had wanted me to try this place out for a while now so we went. Ordered the Hash on Hash... w/braised beef (huge bowl!!)? the flavor was outta this world. Idk what they used to season the grilled veggies but mannn!!! Thetots inside made it have a nice crunch which I like. The carrot waffle with the cream cheese was nicceee (my friend hadpineapples on her?s). I?m not big on sweets but it definitely hit the spot. I ate 1/4 of the waffle there ?. But here?s thekicker ; when I ate it like a couple hrs later? it was like an explosion of sweetness in my mouth (thankfully I did take it homewith me, lol)? oh, and the OJ was very very refreshing. My only thing is the parking? I guess they closed off the place where itwas easy to get to the restaurant but there was parking on street. Over all, the portions were nice, the flavor was on point, and I was a happy camper on a Sunday! Definitely gonna go back!!! ???????? Read more
