It's fast food in Plaquemine, exactly what you expect. Ordered online had to what 20 minutes when I got there, after having to... sit in the drive thru behind 5 cars. What the hell is the point of ordering ahead if it's not ready! It was just family 10piece. Haven't been there in years, didn't have high expectations, but this location has gotten worse! Read more
Service here is a little iffy. Sometimes they don't even speak to you at the drive through, others they can be polite and... helpful. You just never know what you are going to get. Read more
I have gone to Popeyes in Plaquemine for the third time and of course sat in the drive through for twenty minutes. Tonight, I... arrived at nine forty pm. A blue Chevrolet impala and a white nissan pathfinder were in front of me. A white infinity and awhite crown victoria were behind me. They both just sat there waiting for a worker to come on the speaker. I got out and went tothe door and saw a male and a female sitting in the dining area. I tried to get the managers attention but she was cleaning withher back turned to me. At 10:01 pm, she came out and yelled we are closed and then a worker came on the speaker and said we areclosed. This issue needs to be addressed. It has happened to me for the third time. Also, I have sat thirty minutes in line toplace my order. I ordered an 11 piece spicy meal online , 2 large sides and 5 biscuits. When I arrived I pulled into the curbside pickup spot... and called the store to let them know I arrived, it took 15 minutes to get to store. They said I had to drive through thedrive thru , 2 cars were at window, I drove around the building, waited in line, got to the window and was told I didn't talk tothe speaker and that I'd have to drive back around the building and talk to the speaker. I drove back around the building, now I'm behind 3 people waiting to order at the speaker, I finally get through the speaker and to the window , I checked myorder before leaving and found it was missing a piece of chicken and a biscuit, I pulled back around being sure to talk throughthe speaker to avoid another trip around the building. Told them the problem, they said to pull up to window , they weren'teven quite when they began cussing and insulting me after walking away from the window. He returned to say pull into thecurbside pickup spot I started out in to start with to wait an additional 15 more minutes for them to complete my order. Whenhe brought the rest of my order he was laughing to and from my vehicle, i wasn't comfortable enough to feed this food to myfamily due to the character of the employees and the treatment I received from them. So then I had to go somewhere else andorder food and throw all this away, without an all cost me over $23 and an hour and a half of my time for food I wasn't able toeat!
