Love this food! So many favorites but the boiled shrimp salad is the best!
With a name like Fat Daddy?s and being a block away from my work appointment, I had to hit up a Poboy! Had a split decision... between the Shrimp and the Sharon?s Special. The waitress suggested the shrimp and it was a great choice! Was medium-sizedshrimp fried well, but could've used an extra shrimp or two to fill out the half poboy. Unfortunately, that's where the mealstopped being enjoyable. The fries were a soggy mass stuffed in a paper bag and the pickle tasted like used oil. Washed it downwith some sweet tea. Was an enjoyable poboy, but I'll find a new spot to try next time I'm in town. Read more

My husband was working at DOW &, told me he was having lunch here. He was having the RB Po'boy. He'd said, he had it before &,... it was very good. So, I decided to drive out from Denham Springs bec., I love a good RB Po'boy. We had the fried greenbeans asan appetizer bec., he said, they were good as well. Well, it absolutely was. The RB Po'boy was also fabulous. I haven't had aPo'boy like that since, I was a teen. They just don't make food like that anymore. I was impressed &, the hr. drive wascertainly worth it to me. The dipping sauce for the Po'boy was spot on. I loved the atmosphere. I felt like I was in my elementthere. The wait staff were wonderful as well. The food is good overall. They used to use Buttermilk Shrimp and obviously they have gotten away from it. The portions are small... and leaves you desiring more. The service is excellent but this is definitely a place I recommend getting a poyboy and a cup ofgumbo.Nice place to go for lunch Read more
