I waited so long for this place to open and have been so disappointed. About a week after opening I went in at about 8:30pm. It... said they were open until 9. The guy inside told me they were slow so he sent all the kitchen staff home and I couldn't getfood. I went back a couple weeks later and spoke to a lady who was very nice. She was apologetic and offered me a free sushiroll. I ordered a poke bowl and took the free roll as well. I got home and opened the bowl to find a dark dark purple tuna. Itwas kind of withered and had been heavily salted. It was closer to being a Jerky than it was to being a poke. I ended upthrowing it all away and haven't been back. Really wish it was better. Fresh and delicious! And incredible service. Jamal is courteous, friendly and always prepares our meals perfectly. The... restaurant is clean and cute Hawaiian decor. We were frequent customers of their Fort Lauderdale location and were so excitedwhen we found out they were opening in Plantation. My go to has been the the Venice Beach signature bowl and lately I?ve beengetting a build your own (pictured). My only complaint is I wish they were open for dinner as well. Read more
