This place is friendly for kids but more of a bar . I do not recommend the ribs the are very salty I took two bites and was good... .. The wings ,fries , and fried crunchy cheese cake was good . I also got a drink if you like your drinks tasting strong thenthey do a good strong drink . If you like a even balanced drink I don't recommend. Like I said it's more of a bar atmospherethan a restaurant. But would definitely try again just for lunch not dinner .. or maybe even a few drinks .. Read more
Update for 7/17/22 Great atmosphere, the food was awesome; my burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. My kids enjoyed their... spicy wings. Our waiter Ally was on point and extremely great the manager Devin on duty never missed a chance to check up on us,I got to give it to him he went out of his way to please an extremely difficult customer ??????????? Two words, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This was my first time at Duffy?s and was recommended by a colleague so i?d figure that i?d give... it a shot. As soon as we entered Sean, the General Manager, IMMEDIATELY greeted us with a huge smile on his face and proceededto seat us. While waiting for my food Jana, the bartender, gave us immaculate service & drinks along with very comfortinghospitality. Being observant of the beautiful well-maintained interior, I noticed and admired the fact that he did not onlyprovide the best service that words can?t describe, but he even ran to the door to make sure the happy customers wouldn?t haveto open it with their hands full and said goodbye. We selected Duffy?s Sports Grill as the venue for a high school sports banquet and were so happy we did! Johnnie, the general... manager, and Devin, the manager, made sure every need was met, including going the extra mile to help with AV support for aslide show. Both parents and athletes enjoyed the evening and particularly, the food! There were plenty of choices and the pricewas right for an event of this type. We selected to have our event on the outside patio and it transformed beautifully to a?private? space. In bustling South Florida, Duffy?s feels like a hometown spot! Read more
Horrible. The onion ring tower made it to the table very late and we did not have to ask, the waitress comp'd it. As it turned... out the rings were over done and exposed onion was burnt dark. Eventually my calamari came out and it was awful, completelyoverdone and dark brown. Obviously who ever was running the fryer did not have a grip on the position. Then stuck to the bottomof a plate was the certified angus flag. The only problem was that no one ordered a burger, and it was stuck to a plate with amahi sandwich on it! We will never return to a Duffy's again. It's a shame. We looked forward to Duffy's having enjoyed theone in Stuart some years ago. This one at 811 S. University Dr. Plantation Fl. is better skipped over. I give the waitresscredit for knowing exactly what was wrong. She was honest and reflected on the fry station as poorly performing on this day andit was a large part of their menu. Read more
I want to say first off-Nicky is thee best. The kitchen however? people who were seated after us were served. The kid pasta was... trash. My son never spits out food. The kid salad was not washed. We also ordered breaded wings. After a wait of over 1 hour thewings were non breaded but naked and not cooked. Smh. They took it off the bill. They made need additional staff in the kitchen.But again. Nicky tried her best. They drinks were pretty good. Have patience with the servers/ waitress. It?s really not therefault. Read more
Came here with my girlfriend to watch the football game and the food was great! From start to finish my server Chase was... awesome. I had the 2-4-1 drink special and i had ordered a Tennessee Bee Sting. I thought it was going to be a very strongdrink and would have more of a cinnamon taste to it but the cinnamon was very mild. I was really impressed by the mixbeverage. For the appetizer I had the Slam Dunk Nachos. I felt that the nachos could have had a lot more Content and thesriracha aioli sauce was missing from the mix of sauces even though on the menu it said that it would come with it. Bot mygirlfriend and I had ordered some burgers. She had the Tsunami Turkey Burger and she felt that the burger would be very supersavory but instead she felt that it tasted very plain. As for me I had the Sky Box Double Bacon Cheese Burger and I didn?t likethat the onions gave it and normally I don?t mind onions on my burger but oddly this tome it felt off.
