I always have to go out of town to find some really good bbq, however, that is no longer the case! We came in on a Saturday... afternoon to check it out and ordered two plates with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, as well as potato salad and mac &cheese. The lady at the register was very helpful guiding us through the menu and recommended the Kool-Aid to drink, which wasso delicious! They had a cooler of beer and seltzers with a bucket for the beer fund next to it- so nice! They had a variety ofsauces to choose from and they have an island where you can gather what you need. Everything was so good and nothingdisappointed us- we had to take a to go box because the plates were so big! Friendly service and great food, we will be back! Read more

Wow. Seriously all I can say. Every time we come to Dallas we want to try different BBQ joints. Noticed this had all 5 Star... reviews but not many. Decided to see if it was a fluke or legit. 100% Legit! Jerk Wings, Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, Brisket, andHoney Hog Bites (pork belly burnt ends). Everything was amazing.\n\nMet the owners and \"Grandpa\" and they were great hosts. Was like we were at a BBQ in their backyard. This will be the first BBQ place in Dallas that will for sure get a repeat visit. Read more

The jerk chicken here is life changing! The meat fell off the bones and it was juicy. I also loved the jerk chicken patty. I... love the variety of sauces they offer. The Trinidad XXX sauce has a nice kick to it. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Thisis a foodie paradise worth traveling to experience.\n\nFor those who love high quality Texas BBQ but are timid about trying moreethnic cuisines like Caribbean, this is a great \"fusion\" and you won\'t be disappointed or overwhelmed. For those who areexperienced with Caribbean cuisine including people who have travelled there, this restaurant will make your tummyhappy.\n\nEDIT: after experiencing the incredible food here I had to go back and try more items as well as learn about thehistory of the restaurant.\n\nThey have off menu items on Sunday\'s. I tried the Chicken Pelau (Trinidad version of ChickenBiryani) which blew my mind. I wish they would serve this everyday.\n\nThis restaurant which opened in February 2022 is thebrainchild of Willie Meshack Jr and his wife Roberta. Willie Meshack Sr ran a franchise of traditional Texas BBQ restaurantsacross the Dallas area in the 70\'s and 80\'s (their flagship restaurant still operates in Garland). Roberta\'s family runsCaribbean restaurants in the Dallas area. That\'s how this incredible fusion restaurant came into existence.\n\nI\'ve been toover a 100 Michelin star restaurants and I think this place is worth consideration for that accolade for their creativity andexecution. So dang good. The brisket was very tender and flavorful, better than the ?local? bbq joints. I got the brisket sandwich and my... mate got sliced brisket and jerk chicken. Loved the Trinidad bread that was used for the sandwich. Happy they had homemadechips. Will definitely be coming back. Please support this restaurant. Read more

Holy shizzle! It\'s awesome. Spent a good number of years in Texas, and feel my grasp on what\'s good, what\'s so-so, and... what\'s not, is decent and fair. Tried the beef rib (lovely bark, strong pink smoked ring, and the meat fell off the rib as itwas picked up - very moist too, delicious); also tried the lean and moist brisket (again, great flavor, coloring and bark, andeven got a nice burnt end too), and even some jerk chicken came into play (which was something special too with the Caribbeanflavor really on point). Had to try the mac n cheese, beans and potato salad as sides as well. No complaints at all. Verysatisfying. Then add to that a nice clean space to enjoy it in, plenty of parking outside and wonderful family ownership andhospitality - I\'m confident you\'d enjoy the experience too. Read more

Perfectly cooked BBQ with a Jamaican twist. Brisket, pulled pork, and sausage were all superb, the bread was made from scratch... and a sturdy vessel for what must have been at least a half pound of sandwich. Sauces were phenomenal, especially if you lovespicy food! Read more
