Wow, so glad I stumbled upon this restaurant!! Beautiful restaurant, AMAZING seafood, super friendly service, a new favorite for... sure!! Sunday brunch menu was great and was so hard to decide between the lobster grilled cheeses or lobster and shrimp andwaffles. I went with the later and was not disappointed! Batter on the lobster and shrimp was perfectly seasoned and crispy andwent perfectly against the waffles and syrup! Definitely coming back soon to try the lobster grilled cheese! And on the regularmenu, I saw my favorite, lobster rolls! I'll be back again and again! Read more
Come here if you want oysters. The raw selection were all good, but the grilled oysters were just as good. The burger was... surprisingly good, and the lobster Mac and cheese was as good as it sounds. The oyster shooter was.. interesting. Not my thingbut tried it, one time for the one time. Urban Seafood can be great depending on your expectations. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The food... is fair at best. It appears people who come here and get a special table side fishes dish really enjoy the food. Our oysterstook 25 minutes to come out and even with that the oysters were not fully shucked but still partially stuck to the shell... For$2 almost $4 each. The gumbo was under seasoned, we asked for some Cajun salt or old bay to go with it and our server said theydon't have any in the kitchen? My wife's card dip was very runny. The star ? of the restaurant in my opinion was theircheeseburger. If we ever return to Urban Seafood. It will be for a cheeseburger. Read more
We stumbled upon Urban Seafood while looking for a good seafood joint on line. After reviewing the reviews we decided to check... out the place for Mother?s Day. What an experience it was???????? From the ambiance to the service and food everything wasexcellent! There Shaesha Gin tonic is out of this world!! Food was fresh and delicious. Celebrated my birthday, first time here. This is a fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere. The maitre d was attentive to... our needs for our entire evening. The waiter we had was extremely knowledgeable of the menu items. His recommendations were spoton! The Branzino was delicious!!! I even received a celebratory slice of cake. I will definitely be back. Beautiful restaurant in downtown Plano with a variety of seafood options. We come for lunch often and enjoy a variety of dishes.... The oysters are always different and my husband really enjoys trying them out. I like the simply prepare salmon or shrimp salada lot. The restaurant is really beautiful and the staff is always nice, too. Giving 4 stars because the AC is either supermuggy or freezing, the bathrooms are shared and not the cleanest, and the lighting under the bar is hot on your legs! Read more
Was referred to this place for my birthday, and so glad we went. The restaurant is in downtown Plano. There is adequate parking... even though it is shared with other establishments. Once inside, the restaurant is brightly lit. There is inside and outsideseating. Our server was excellent, and he took the time to walk through the specials as well as provide both food and drinkrecommendations. The first drink was not to my liking, and he quickly returned it for a replacement. To celebrate my birthday,we wanted to try the carrot cake. Unfortunately, the last piece was served before we placed our order. When we shared ourdisappointment, they found a smaller piece provided at no extra cost. It wasn't a full piece, but it was still good. And thegesture to ensure we had a great time by the going the extra mile is why I would return. Read more
