I stopped coming to twisted Root a couple years ago because of a couple bad experiences with the location that used to be an... Allen next to the movie theater. I decided to give it another chance of this location and I was not disappointed. Very good foodand a very courteous staff. Bison burger always is impressive and their french fries are absolutely amazing. This place is petfriendly and allows dogs on the back patio which is a very large space with some games on it. Thank you and I'll be coming backagain! Read more

I want to start by saying I love twisted root, I have been to multiple different locations and never have problems. With this... being said I will NEVER return to the Plano location. Cold food then just warm food, so disappointed... keep reading for furtherinformation. The Plano location also serves pizza which was new for me. My husband and I went to this restaurant on Thursday8/4/22. I ordered my usual which is the all American burger and got onion straws on this visit, while my husband decided toorder a pizza. Our buzzer goes off and we pick up our food and I sit back down to a warm burger and cold onion straws. InitiallyI was like okay they didn't time the food right and my food sat there for a bit while his pizza was cooking. I take it back upto the kitchen and let them know my food isn't hot. So they remake it and bring it out to table this time. It comes out to anpretty warm patty (still not hot) however the cheese is no where near melted, the bacon on top is room temp, and my onion strawsare now warm, even with letting them know I received cold food the first time I still received only warm food. To top it off myburger was a little less done than I prefer but I can get over that, IF and only IF, everything else is on point. It was not andI left so disappointed. Read more

Burgers were good, cooked very medium, buns were fresh. No freezers advertised which means very fresh food. If you like... pickles this is your place, see picture. Worth a try. Read more

Food was very bland, I got the mushroom burger. Had no taste. Had to put tons of chipotle ranch on it for it to taste better. I... wanted to come here so bad to try it because I saw it on diners drive ins and dives, but this was a huge let down. Plus thereare FlIES EVERYWHERE! I couldn't even eat my good without one landing on me or my cup. Fountain drinks suck! My husband wantedto go to smash Burger to begin with......I should have listed to him. They are WAY better than this place. In the pictures youcan see the flies. On the ketchup bottle and napkins. ???????? We will not be coming back! Read more

It is so hip and cool looking inside. Definitely a fun place to bring friends. Pricing is fair for the experience and food you... are getting. Food comes fast and hot! If you've never been to a twisted root I would go just for the pickle barrels where youserve yourself with craft pickles! Try it out y'all it won't disappoint. Read more

Let me start this off by saying that I have loved every Twisted Root that I've been to. This was my first time at this Twisted... Root, and it was just as awesome as the others! I love the decor and the ambience! Their burgers are out of this world, andthey have homemade sauces and drinks! This place is definitely worth the money, and isn't too expensive in comparison to someother burger joints! Definitely worth the visit! Read more

1st visit to this location as the one in Fairview has been closed for some time. Great 1st impression. Lots of customers for... weekday lunch before New Year 2022. The owners took over this location from another restaurant and made it their own. We gottheir classic burger with one order of fries to share. Sample the pickles in barrels; 5 to choose from. Burger was very good andwe will have to visit again sooner than later. The prior restaurant had a brick pizza oven put in so they offer that on themenu. There is a second floor if you want to get away from the crowd downstairs. Plenty of big screen TVs to watch the sportgames. Be sure to look for the buffalo heads with leis hanging from them. And the male movie/TV stars portraits in some sort ofuniform of the 19th century. I posted a lot of interior photos. Read more

A newcomer to the downtown Plano area, the twisted Root Burger Co. brings it's own style and tasty meals to the area. I tried... their Classic Burger with punch fries and it was a very satisfying lunch. Along with their own classic cola in a vanilla shakethat will give you a sweet delight. The employees were friendly and attentive in their stations. I have no doubt that thisrestaurant with it's sleek bar area, multi-seating areas, and large outside seating area will play host to many of get-togethersand outings for the people in the area. I look forward to coming back here again in the near future. Come and stay for the food, drinks, and fun times. Good work and luck to everyone working there. Read more
