The food was pretty good overall, we ordered the fajita chicken tacos, brisket tacos and chips/queso. I didn\'t know queso could... be so runny! It was hard to get a lot of queso on the chips because it ran off like water.\n\nThe atmosphere was great,particularly if you like seeing old LPs everywhere. Hmm..where do I start....the food was ok...crisp tacos soso...fajitas Street tacos were not very street the fajita melted tasted... like slow cooked stew mear....egg and black bean taco soso..I did enjoy the queso and the fries. ..chips are thin but ok..all ofthe tortillaswe luke warm and falling apart.......\nIt reminded me of Fuzzy Tacos...which i enjoy and prefer...maybe I\'ll tryagain...I posted what was left and we threw away...I left the place unsatisfied..maybe next visit will go better. Wanted some local tacos and found this location randomly near my hotel, and was glad I stopped in.\nGot the Dr J\'s Chips &... Queso (this is enough for 2+ people) and the 3 ground sirloin tacos combo.\nIt was PLENTY of food for one person, and was reallyquite good.\nThis location has staff that are very friendly, and pretty relentless at keeping the place clean.\nSeating isplentiful inside and out, and I believe their selection of various alcohols are good as well.\nWell worth taking the time tostop in here and enjoy a meal...I know if I was local a certain national taco chain would never, ever get money from me againafter eating here! My experience at The Taco Joint was 3 stars, however I think it was due to the choices I made from the menu. I ordered the... Churros for me and they were excellent. I ordered the grilled Tacos for my friend and she didn\'t like them nor finished them. From the look at the other patrons there, they seem to enjoy there meal. So again I give it three stars only because my friendsaid the fish Tacos were horrible:( Read more

Just happened to pass this place...I wanted a breakfast taco so ordered a bacon,egg, and bean taco. ???? ????TAKE MY MONEY!!... I\'m even more of a fan because they actually put bacon and not bacon bits.???????? Just moved out to Plano area...pretty surethis will be my go-to spot. Service is great too. ????????Hey Tad!! I ordered a to-go order from this location. I ordered the 3 taco combo with the rice and beans and drink. I requested no... tortillas and to have my order put in a bowl for me like I thought would be a salad style meal. I have included in my pics whatI actually got. The food was OK but I spent 25 dollars for two meals and I don\'t think I will return. I was dissatisfied how myorder came out. Read more
