We went for lunch. Scanned the QR code for menu that had options like tomato hot pot, spicy Thai hot pot, curry hot pot, etc...... But none of these had a description of what it comes with already. Aside from these special menus, there were add ons. You canadd ingredients or add things like rice, noodles etc. We ordered spicy Thai hot pot. Like I mentioned none of these items had adescription of what it comes with originally. So I assumed we have to add ingredients to add to this hot pot. We also didn'thave a server so there was no one to ask, apparently this place is a self serve and they'll bring you your hot pot when youorder and pay via your cell phone. But there was a person at the register who hung out there and didn't come to attend to peopleunless he brought a pot outside to the table. Anyways we ordered and continued to discover umfamiliar meats and meatballs,fishballs, seafood ingredients etc. We had friends who could eat some ingredients so we shared with them. But 5 minutes intoeating this I felt the need to ask what all was in it and that I feel uncomfortable eating any further as there was nodescription when I was ordering. I spoke to the guy and explained the situation. He stated, ALL hot pots are pork based and haspork ingredients. I asked if he can compensate and get us tomato based without anything pork. I also asked them to take out mostingredients. He said okay, he will do that for us but no add ons. Considering I spent about $50+ on this order already, I wasasking for something vegetarian base soup with less ingredients. He then came back to our table 5 mins later and said sorry thechef said he's not going to make another one, you should have known about the ingredients. I asked that they add theseingredients for people with dietary restrictions and are vegetarians in your QR menu description. Tasty Pot indeed. Individual hot pots on top of a little stove to keep it warm/hot. Was a little too hot at first had to let it... cool down before gulfing it down. Got the Szechuan flavor, would come back for more! Came twice already Read more
It was late when my family and I walked into 99 Ranch. We noticed Tasty Pot before but never tried it. Decided to try it... tonight. We ordered the lamb hot pot and the stinky tofu. When they were served, the smell was so awesome that I almost forgotto take the photos. It was delicious. The ingredients were generous too. Tasty Pot definitely made it to my delicious foodlist. Anyone craving for hot pot should try Tasty Pot. ???? Read more

Glad there is another Taiwanese-style hot pot place. The portion here is large. The service is good and place is clean. We... ordered the stinky tofu hot pot as well as the fried version. We feel the taste is pretty mild. Not as strong as we like. Read more
Extremely salty. The seafood like the crab tasted rotten. How on earth can this store be getting 4 and 5 stars, is beyond me?... Moreover, the service was beyond terrible. Do yourself and your family a favor, go elsewhere. Read more
