Reviews for Taste of Poland European Tavern in Plano, TX
It was absolutely delicious. I got the Taste of Poland with a sampling of everything. We tried all the sweet Polish wines... such as honey, raspberry, cherry, peach and black currant. The best was the honey wine, then the black currant and 3rd wasraspberry. The cherry tasted like cough syrup. Go and enjoy Read more
Yummy food. Great flavor & great service. We tried the Taste of Poland platter which had which is like a sampler plate. Three... of us had it.... it could easily have shared for 4 people. There is also a Polish grocery store onsite. Nice vibe! Wouldrecommend. Read more
First of all huge portion, the plate for 2 was for 3 in my opinion. We were there mostly for the zurek, a white polish soup hard... to find outside Poland. Zurek was very good, we liked pierogi and the kotlet was very very big. Sad that they didn?t have themakoviec, will be back. It did taste like authentic Polish food, for sure! Read more

According to my friend who has relatives from Poland, the food is good and authentic. The prices are a little above average,... but for authentic Polish food I think it's worth it. They also have a small grocery store and deli inside! :) Read more
We came to Taste of Poland because it caught our eye on a previous visit to a nearby restaurant, which I have forgotten, because... it is a pale shadow. Taste of Poland has a variety of dishes on their menu, but they only serve one thing: excellence. I had apork cutlet with tomato, fried egg and mozzarella: my companions had the whole Taste of Poland platter. The sausage, thepierogies, the potato pancakes and the schnitzel were standouts, but everything was excellent, down to the red cabbage salad. We'll be back. Read more
Ordered 2 taste of Poland sample Platters. Easily fed 4 people with the two platters. I would suggest this if you want to get a... lot of variety of popular polish foods. The pork schnitzel was the best we have had in Texas so far. They did warn us that thesampler takes 35-40 min to prepare. Every one in our group enjoyed some things on the sample platter and others were not ourcup of tea, but hey nothing ventured right? Finished it off with the cheese filled blitzes. They are covered in a berry sauce.Very good. Or shall I say berry good. Reservations are not required, but the place is small and filled up quickly. Planaccordingly. They Also have a little polish food store attached to the restaurant. You can shop while you wait for dinner. Read more
