The kitchen service was very fast and convenient. Calamari was delicious and came out faster then we expected. The menu was very... easy to read. Sort of fancy Mexican street food fare. The margarita was tasty. The crew members were very friendly, helpful,attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. Nice bar and fans and misters on the patio. Seriously felt like I was on vacation walking up to this unique and fun place! The food was very good, the staff was friendly... and a great place to people watch. Started of with the guacamole for an appetizer and it was very tasty and different. Itactually had pumpkin seeds on top. I wasn't sure I was going to like the combination but I was pleasantly surprised! Next, wehad the street tacos and they were yummy. Needless to say our bellies were full when we left! Came to visit the Boardwalk and have lunch. Safe to say I made a good decision selecting this restaurant for a bite. The... service is really great and our host and server was great. The drinks are delicious and strong. You have to try the short ribtacos. I?m from NY and have stood on long lines for similar tacos. This by far blows those tacos out the water. Took a stroll at The Boardwalk of Granite Park in Plano and we worked up a good appetite for Sunday brunch. The foods at... Suburban Yacht Club is fantastic. Their menu has everything for the avid bruncher; plenty to choose for the seafood lover downto the taco fanatics. The dishes were all flavorful and perfectly cooked. The drinks were flowing and they are plenty good!Colorful, fun and just enough liquor to get us tipsy. Also, the service here is impeccable. Our host was cheerful andaccommodated us with a table that was easy for our dog as well. Our server Mario is friendly, attentive and quick with thefoods and drinks. Visited for happy hour drinks while waiting for a few other friends to arrive in Dallas. Mario was our server, he was the one to... greet us and seat us as well. He was fantastic and made our experience memorable. We ordered a few food items to share and allof them were great. Great atmosphere, delicious food but the best part was the service and warm hospitality we got from Mario.We wanted to visit here again while we were in Dallas but our schedules didnt allow us. We really enjoyed dinner at suburban yacht club! We did think that the design and decor of the location was a modern take on the... Golden Girls, however we do enjoy the Golden Girls and that?s not necessarily a bad thing. This place really did exude a vibe ofa modern day Miami Vice, and they did a great job with it. We didn?t really know where to go for dinner, however the bartender,José Luis, at the Hilton Granite Park gave us his top three locations to eat on the Boardwalk, and we are glad that we settledon trying out suburban yacht club. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and the food was really good! Service was quick and onpoint! We tried: Mexican Shrimp Cocktail SoCal Coastal Ceviche Spicy Tuna Tostadas Honestly, for two people this was enough tofill us up. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying different items on the menu. My wife did try one oftheir frozen drinks, the Blue O?ahu. She thought it was a pretty drink, cleverly mixed, although it was not a flavor profile sheparticularly enjoyed. She typically enjoys sweeter drinks, and she did not realize it had tequila in it until after she orderedit. She?s not fond of tequila or agave flavor. She feels others may definitely enjoy it, and the fact that she didn?t think itwas high on her list was not at the fault of SYC. She would recommend it to anyone that did enjoy tequila. Read more
For a second there I really thought I was in Miami or something. They even got the surfing stuff on the tvs going on. Food was... better than I expected. Everything I tried was tasty. The service was amazing, the server knew his stuff! Will definitely comeback and try some other stuff on the menu! Read more
