Definitely not like it used to be. Staff did not greet us and other customers at all. Orders are done through a computer. Food... came out quick though. I had not been to a Steak n Shake in years. I see why service was awful she acted as though she was doing me a favor to give me... my order. It took 3 cokes to finally get a descent tasting coke. But she was annoyed. Terrible will never go back, not to thisone. Read more
With the change to kiosks rather than employees taking orders one can't get a blend or custom shake order anymore. No more... banana chocolate shakes. The paper straws they switched to for shakes are too thin walled for the size and have the ends crumblebarely a 3rd of the way into a shake (if you can even get that far, they still flatten too easily even before the end breaksdown). They have changed up some of the items on their menu. However, we order our burger combos & since they don't have Parmigian for... the fries we got the only other option, Cajun. Will NOT do that again. It was not good at all. Our burgers were good though. We did also get fresh food. Read more
Came in and sat at the bar top, not much people for 3pm. Server that helped me out was very nice and attentive. Ordered a prime... burger, perfectly cooked. Very fresh meat, seasoning is perfect. Checked this place out cause I got tired of WB and in-n-out.Comparable to in, but you get a full size burger and for a better price BY FAR. I haven't been here in about 2yrs and it has definitely changed and not for the better. The main reason for my visit was Side by... Side Shake, but they don't do those anymore. Also it was very impersonal, you place your order at a big kiosk which isn't bad,but no interaction with the staff. The food was meh. Idk if I'll be back. Read more
