This place has became our (me and my roommates) to go place for dinner. The large size pot with couple add-ons are enough for... 3-4 starving dudes. Our favorite topping on the pot are beef tongue and cat fish. This place recently start to offer Hunan Styleentrees and we love it. Very tasty and good amount of food - a big pot will be enough for a three-people family. Better than expectation because those... are real Chinese food. Really like the fried fish(absolutely the best I?ve ever tried in Dallas), very fresh with good taste ofall the spices and ingredients in it. Highly recommended! My expectations did not go well as I expected. My experience was I got diarrhea. I ordered Beef Hot Pot and the beef was not... fresh. When I chewed it, the beef tasted funny like expired. Not planning to come back at all. Read more

I went with a group of friends towards the tail end of their afternoon hour on Memorial Day. The place was not too crowded and... we were able to get a seat immediately, even with a group of eight or nine people. The service was attentive and timely. Weordered the cooked beef tongue with additional catfish on top. The seemingly random combination of food actually tasted insanelygood. Even the ramen noodle at the bottom of the pot exceeded our expectation. Although I am not every tolerant of spicy food,the mild-spicy level hit the right spot for me. And if you are the adventurous kind, definitely try the duck head, it's just thebest. Bonus points for having a great dessert place right next door. Read more
