Finally got to try this place and SizzleIt switches from my Want To Go list to Favorites. ? ???? I had The Classic and it... tasted like I imagined it would from the pictures. Just the right amount of food for a satisfying lunch meal. I gave the rice agood press in the center and thoroughly mixed all the ingredients on the hot sizzling plate. Food stays very hot so you can eatat your own pace. Definitely will return to try some other menu items, though it will be hard not to just get The Classicagain. Edited a year later to add: I am puzzled by the reviewer that stated his food was still raw when served, appeared tonot fully cook all the meat (diner's responsibility), then proceed to photograph and then consume said meat. That's the wholeidea of this restaurant -- you are served a sizzling platter (500F?) with cooked rice, corn, and uncooked proteins of yourchoice and you mix the contents over the hot platter until it is cooked to your liking. I've now eaten here over 20 times andnever had an issue with the platter cooling down faster than I can cook the meat; if anything I need to wait longer than mytastebuds desire in order to consume the food at a reasonable temperature. If for whatever reason the meat doesn't fully cook,I'd flag down the server to request another hot platter, though I've never had the need for such action. Next time I go, I'llinform the owner he should include the ubiquitous consumer advisory warning that I see at other places on the menu or wall ofthe establishment: ?Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborneillness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.? I think there is a world of difference between being servedsomething undercooked that is for immediate consumption versus having a role as the diner in cooking your food on a givencooking apparatus. ¯_(?)_/¯ Read more

I took my family here today. The owner was working both the kitchen and front of house all by himself. Covid has surely put a... damper on this industry and my hats off to the owner for lacing up his boots and pushing through. With that said service wasunderstandably a bit slow. The food was excellent. I had the classic and added cheese, kimchi, and an egg. Wife had the same asmyself, in-laws had the chicken and salmon. everyone loved the food. it stayed hot the entire time. Even though I got the cheeseI never felt guilty about the food. Simple ingredients done right make the best food and this is a great example of relativelyguilt free good food at an exceptional price. Please go, give this owner your patronage and maybe a little bit of your patiencewhile he looks for additional staff as he transitions out of primarily doing togo orders and back into full in house service. I was the only customer that night. Food was still raw when served. I started having diarrhea after the meal and eventually had... to visit urgent care 2 days after. Management asked me to remove yelp my review without any further investigation. Posting aphoto to illustrate the "raw" part. I also have medical records to back my statement. The service is impeccable, the food was such greatly cooked in my opinion. I had a wonderful experience here. And the water they... serve here is unique, and so delicious. I highly recommend coming in here and dine in if you have the time for it. Makes thewhole experience come together. Read more

They serve you the food on a 500°F plate and you finish the cooking with some special sauces. Great place for lunch!

I'm quite familiar with this hot (500F) plate rice dish so I decided to try this (hidden gem) place for dinner and it was a no... regret decision. It tasted really good, I think with egg and more black pepper are always better. Be a final taste chef with alittle touch of their homemade sauce. Trust me, their price tag will make you wanna comeback anytime soon ???? Read more
