I called in to place an order and was left on hold they forgot to come to the phone. I drove to the establishment and mentioned... I was left on hold then was told they forgot. Food order was wrong I ordered green beans not baked beans the meat was way toosalty drowned in bbq sauce I received 2 small burnt ends of brisket. I guess these were 2 meats. I'll stick with TenderSmokehouse where the meat is Tender and service is great. And wonder why its hard to support some of these businesses out here. Read more
The Fried Pork Chops were really good. I ordered two sides of greens and a side of cabbage. The sides were bland, no seasoning... at all and because I eat a lot of vegetables that is the only reason I gave a 4 because the vegetables mean more to me than themeat but I will try them again in the future and I recommend if you're in the area to give them a try. Food is so good!! Fried fish (swai). Not many places have this option and it?s done very well. The green beans are so well... seasoned!!! Deliciousness and not so over cooked that they aren?t green anymore - that sometimes happens with soul food. I?vehad the sweet potatoes, collards and mac and cheese. All yummy. I haven?t had a bad meal or service experience hereonce. Sundays!! If you love yourself you must try the smothered pork chops. I try and get here as often as I can. Its a laidback environment to enjoy your meal with tvs/music. The staff I?ve interacted with have been kind and friendly. I enjoysupporting this black owned business!! Hubby and I came in for lunch. I had the Brisket Sandwich, he had the rib sandwich with potato salad and green beans. Oh my... goodness, this is the BEST brisket I've had in years! And the green beans were very flavorful. Yummy. We will be back! Read more
Amazing customer service, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection! The southern fried fish melts in your mouth and is so delicious... and crispy. The ribs have a smoked flavor and is just done to perfection...dont just take my word for it though, get yourself aplate! I also got a peach cobbler & let me tell you, it smells so goooooood!!!! My husband and I were excited when we saw the food truck and the signs saying they were opening soon! I waited a week and went... in for some brisket sandwiches. I ordered 2 samdwiches, was the only customer in the restaurant at the time, and it still took15 minutes for only 2 sandwiches. To top it off, it was not worth the wait! The sauce was too much, too salty. The brisketseemed like it had been microwaved instead of smoked. I don't know that we will be back.
