Great hidden gem. The service was amazing, I was seated promptly and my waitress was very attentive and friendly. The coffee... was fresh and strong and the food was amazing. I was visiting family in town that recently found this charming little cafe. We went in for a late breakfast and for me it was... nostalgia at its finest. The menu is quite extensive with traditional, Mexican, Tex-mex, Central American dishes. I ordered theEl Chapin plate and oh my! The authentic Guatemalan chorizo, beans, cheese and crema were delicious. But man oh man, the freshtortillas were near perfect! Reminded me of El Salvador! What a hidden gem!!! They have a traditional breakfast menu and a Guatemalan menu!! Their bean and tortillas were delicious! ... You can never go wrong with queso fresco and crema. All the food was tasty! Our waiter was excellent. Definitely will becoming back! Read more
It's been so long since I came here i forgot that I was here before. I have to leave a review this time. Awesome breakfast this... morning. I like my bacon "extra, extra crispy". Most places are afraid to get it too done, but I like mine bordering on burnt.(I know, I know, but it's my personal preference. Don't worry, I like my steak medium rare like a normal Texan) Anyway, they didnot disappoint. Everything came out quickly and perfectly cooked. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely come back.
