Shopped here for my grilling needs as usual. Asked for 10lbs. Of tablitas. Got home and got the griddle ready, grilled my... veggies and then. When I got the meat out and ready to grill....... Fajita meat! How did a mistake like this happen? I'm bilingual (English and Spanish) there was no communication breakdown . The request was clear. ???????? Tried to call since I drivefrom Wylie to shop here. And the line is continuously busy. (Maybe deliberate) I don't want to drive all the way if the storeisn't willing to make it right for me. I came in to purchase a dinner plate, as advertised. I was told they no longer have the food advertised. In fact, Manuel told me... they did not any of the food of the plates asvertised. He said the kitchen staff told him those were breakfast plates and thatbreakfast ended at 10 a.m. I told him that is not true. I buy these plates often, and I notice that many times the staff areoblivious to the sale on the newspaper that I am asking to purchase, and always refer to the newspaper to inform themselves.They are oblivious to what they sell. He said that I could purchase a regular priced plate if I want, or come back tomorrow whenmanager is available. I told him that is not acceptable. I wanted the price of the plate, as advertised. In fact, I even askedfor a substitute. The compromise was not given. He refused to sell me the advertised price. He said he had called the manager,but I told him that they never spoke with me. He threatened to call the police, and I told him to go ahead. In fact, a fewmoments earlier, they were here purchasing something and I suggested that they call them over if they would like. No matterwhat, Manuel stood his ground and would not budge on satisfying my requests. I stood there, as he offered that I could, if Iwanted to. It matter nothing to him that I was in the way of other customers and hindered the smooth operation of helping themwith there purchases. The conveyor belt was not running because I was there (blocking the sensor), and they simply manuallypushed and pulled the groceries to scan them for purchase. I told him I was going to report them (the store). He did not care. Iwould suggest not dealing with this store if you are seeking something advertised in the weekly paper, because you may bedisappointed that they may not follow through with it. Read more
