Love this place! The coffee is amazing and they leave a pot at the table so you can have a hot refill when you want it. The 55+... menu has great options. Dillon and Red are fantastic servers! They make you feel well taken care of. The wait wasn't long for amid Sunday morning and we were able to get handicap parking right by the door. The restrooms were also clean. My one suggestionwould be to bus tables sooner. The guests behind us left quite a mess on the table and floor. Not a very inviting scene forthose who were coming in. That's why 3 stars for atmosphere. This was our 2nd visit and we will come again. The roast turkeygravy and cranberry sauce with broccoli was very tasty! Read more
Burnt Hashbrowns in my Father's Steak omelet which ruined his appetite. Cook put a wad of straight butter and chocolate chips on... my mothers chocolate chip pancakes which made a huge hole. The pancakes, were disgusting and so were the chocolate chips. Thepancakes were... peeling?? They're not supposed to do that either. Waitress was unexceptional and rude. I enjoyed my breakfast. Straight forward to 2 clean plates. Easy and delicious. What stands out was our service. Ali rocked it.... Easy going and affable. Good kid. And, a shout out to management for cashing us out at the end. Very friendly. You can usuallyspot a restaurant manager by how they stand around doing almost nothing but barking at the employees. "Red" was a great server. Big smile and great attitude. Funny how great service makes the food taste so much better. I ordered... a 55+ Breakfast Sampler. So the portions were a bit smaller than IHOPs other over-the-top breakfasts. Which was perfectly finewith me. I did not feel over stuffed and bloated after eating a heavy breakfast. I subbed the blueberry lemon crepe for thepancake to make it a perfect breakfast. My daughters had strawberry banana french toast and blueberry pancakes. Unfortunately,the bacon came out over cooked. However, Red brought out replacement bacon before we even could say anything. I had alreadytaken a picture of the food with the over cooked bacon! Our IHOP has a nice positive vibe among all the servers and businesswas bustling on a Sunday morning! Waitress was pretty nice. However, we ordered the crispy chicken and were given grilled chicken. Asked if that was okay. We... nicely asked if we could get the crispy chicken. Brought us back the crispy chicken that was raw in the middle. We asked for themenu to order something new, was informed that ?she was gonna charge us for it? after serving raw chicken after bringing thewrong thing. Unpleasant experience overall. Had to listen to the waitress ask another customer- if their fiancée was a woman.He said yes, she asked ?if she acts like one.? That seems inappropriate to ask your customer. Not really the greatest. But to be honest I don't expect any restaurant that stays open late like this to be any good. We waited... for half an hour roughly for our food to arrive. The steak was overcooked even though we asked for medium rare. They gave usbutter knives to cut with. The chicken was overcooked and dry. They didn't have balsamic vinaigrette nor any other type ofdressing because they were out, so even though I asked for a vinaigrette I was given ranch. Not much else about the food. It waswarm enough. Not very crowded (9 AM, mid-week) and the tables clean. Quick service but a little underwhelming in the taste and appearance... departments. Hash browns had a light brown coat and white as driven snow beneath that was almost mashed. The Spinach andMushroom Omelette had long/broad sections of 'greens'; chef didn't feel like chopping? The two cheeses were not mixed well -culinary style? Coffee wasn't piping hot but tasted better than 'drip' servers elsewhere but then Espresso is more my style. Read more
Took my Grandson there for a late breakfast today. Our Server (Red) was excellent. He was very busy and informed us he'd be with... us asap and his service was fantastic from start to finish. Food was delivered quickly and he checked on us more than once,which was nice. Food was good and service was better. Just how I like it. Thanks Red!! Read more
