A Plano staple, I've never had a bad meal at Fishmonger. Waiter was fantastic, even though we were not really dressed for the... stop. But my brother lives seafood. Biled shrimp app was cook to perfection. The Cajun pasta was spot on (and pasta cooked toperfection) I had seafood quesadillas. Best I've ever had. I noticed a lot of diversity among clientele. Several were elderlyand staff went out of their way to make them comfortable. Just really great staff who displayed kindness to all guests. Nicelyimpressed. Read more

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. Yesterday, June 19th, my brothers and I wanted to treats our dad to a... Father?s Day dinner. When we walked in the restaurant and we were immediately seated, and that was the only decent customerservice we received during our time there. As stated, we were seated and given menus to look over. Before I continue I want toshare where exactly we were seated so those reading can get the big picture. My family and I were seated SLAP DAD IN THE MIDDLEOF DINING AREA, seated a tables away for the fireplace. So, if you?ve ever been to this restaurant you know how central andvisible we were seated in the restaurant. We were not tucked off in a corner or behind a wall, we were in the center of thedining area. Mind you, yes it was Father?s Day, but remember we were seated immediately so the restaurant was not overly crowdedor busy. So, we are seated, and time passes. 5 minutes?no waiter. 10 minutes?no waiter. 15 minutes?no waiter. And during thistime there are two waiter (both white with long brown hair, both wearing trucker style hats, one with a black cross earring inhis left ear and another I believe with glasses and maybe a shoulder tattoo) had passed us multiple times serving/deliveringfood and drinks, and checking on customers. Not once did either of these customer service professional stop and acknowledge us;they did not introduce themselves as our waiter or bring us water while we sat and looked at the menu. Finally, enough time hadpassed where we refused to seat any longer. So, before getting up and leaving my dad ask the waiter with the earring if I serverwould be to our table soon and the waiter had no real response. He said that he had no idea we were there/or waiting and hewould find our waiter to get us helped. Several things were wrong with his response. One being this young man was the one whotold the host when and where to seat us. Two, he had passed us multiple times to assist other customers. And Read more

HONEST REVIEW..This was my 1st time and all I can say is it will become a regular spot. When I say good eats, I mean it. That... seafood had my pallet jumping. Blackened Trout, Blackened Catfish($20) substituted Tilapia. Fried Catfish, crawfish, redbeans/rice, boil and crab rolls. If you lie your tea really sweet you will have to add sugar. Had bread pudding and Beignets togo. Everything was cooked to perfection! Read more

Excellent food! We were in town for an event and looking for a Sat night dinner that didn?t have an hour plus wait - we were... immediately seated. We were very pleased with the food. My husbands salmon was cooked well and he loved the cream sauce! Forme, I hate seafood so I went in settling for the grilled chicken. In error, I got the blackened chicken which I?m not a fan -but it looked different than what I?ve tried before so I tried it before sending it back?it was phenomenal - so flavorful (lotsof kick too)! Waitstaff was friendly too. Read more

This evening was a perfect dinner experience. Jill G is a wonderful server, very knowledgeable about everything on the menu,... extremely pleasant to talk with, and almost fervent in her zeal to serve my wife and me. The crab stuffed mushrooms were ourappetizer for the night, and the six of them were sufficiently large to where we were already questioning if we could finish ourmeal through the entree. Each mushroom was slightly larger than a half dollar in diameter, and in addition to the mushroomsthemselves there was an incredible amount of shall we say sauce on the plate with them, so much so that after finishing themushrooms it took us about half of the crackers in the basket provided to finish that sauce. I had a house salad next, whichwas a standard and unremarkable combination of lettuce, cabbage, carrot, and a tomato wedge. Everything was extremely springyand fresh, but really that should be expected. What I want to call out here is the dressing, all of their salad dressings arecustom made in house. I got to try two of them because I could not decide. The first was all of artichoke Italian dressing. forwhat it was, it was very good, and all of the flavors came through strongly, but I only tried it directly and didn't put it onmy salad because it was green olives and not black that it was made with, and I'm not a fan of green olives outside of amartini. The other dressing was the spicy thousand island, and oh my goodness I could probably just drink it from a gravy boat,it was that good. I did try some of my wife's Caesar salad, and I found it to be only "okay" though I was delighted that thecroutons stayed very crunchy for quite some time even with the dressing on them, yet even when we first got it they were not sodry that they were rough to consume. For entrees we got the fishmonger ponchartrain and cedar plank salmon. I had already hadthe former on a previous visit and knew it to be incredible, but I was blown away by the salmon as I'm not nor Read more

This place has is okay. I got the fried fish combo of shrimp, catfish and tilapia with a side of grilled vegetables and hush... puppies. Beautifully fried with the perfect crunch and their tartar sauce is out of this world. Of course the fish was good, butthe shrimp was very, very small and the rice didn't have almost any flavor to it. The hush puppies were very good and the actualvegetables was cooked very well. What they missed out on is fine, but at least they have really tasty fish to make up for it.Try it out, tastes very, so go for it, just be careful ordering the shrimp so you won't lose money.
