Reviews for Eddie V's Prime Seafood in Plano, TX
So for a "high" end $$$ place I would say it was nothing to be overly ecstatic about. The food was "good". We had all seafood.... The lobster bisque while it had a huge chunk of claw meat in the bottom didn't have any other lobster in it. The chilian seabass is steamed in a broth, so while it was tasty, I prefer it broiled or grilled. My wife's salmon was cooked good but underseasoned. My Father had the scallops and said they were fine. Read more
This was my first time eating at Eddie V's. We celebrated our five year anniversary and I cannot say enough good things about... the atmosphere, the service and the food. The food was by far, the best I have had anywhere in DFW. They even had nice musicplaying. It wasn't too loud so you could still talk and not have to yell. Our waitress was Janaya and she was amazing! Wedidn't even ask for the champagne or the dessert trio and the even had a handwritten card for our anniversary. We willdefinitely be back! Read more
Truly 24 Carat!! Love! Lately, I pray for an exceptional dining experience which is tough to find these days! Well Eddie V?s... far exceeded my expectations and knocked it way out of the park! The food, the service, the ambience, the live jazz, thedrinks!! Everything top notch! Ryan our server was phenomenal! One of the best servers I ever experienced in over 30 years ofdining including international travel! Funny, engaging, knowledgeable and first class. He brought us warm lemon infused towelsto cleanse our hands before our meal! Complimentary dessert for my friend which he presented in fanfare and a big smile! He wasso happy you would think it?s his birthday. He also sent the Mgr over to wish my friend a happy birthday and he also gave us awarm welcome! Our group ordered 5 sides (enhancements) and not one was not perfect! We loved the lobster mash and crab friedrice the most. I had the kung pao calamari for dinner because it?s such a large portion and I still had a to go box. All thesides are family style and so yummy! I also had the 24 karat cocktail pictured, yup the name says it all! Great location! Plentyof parking plus valet service if you please. 100 stars! You must go! I just can?t wait to return. Read more
My husband and I had our first visit to Eddie V's this Monday, and we were not disappointed. The experience was excellent due to... our waiter, Peter. Every suggestion he made was spot on. He answered all of our questions and told us about the menu items frompersonally eating them in the past. I think all servers should know menu items and have at least tried them before offering themto customers. It made our dining experience so much better. Thanks to his suggestion, I tried the one thing I didn't think Iwould like. I loved it. It was fantastic. From Drinks to dessert, he was the best waiter we've had in years. As for therestaurant itself, it's in a great location, has beautiful decor, and it felt relaxing the entire time we were there. The dresswas semi-formal to completely casual, which was somewhat unexpected. We expected semi-formal to formal, but in this day and age, that rarely occurs. We will return, and we will ask for Peter again. He made a nice night out even better use by his outstandingservice. Read more

I haven't eaten at an Eddie V's since before the pandemic hit. Fast forward 2.5 years later and one just happens to open up near... my house. We were able to get in early during happy hour and the meal and the drinks did NOT disappoint. And just as important, the service was incredible. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating and as sweet as can be. I believe her name wasTiffany. The manager, Chris, came over to check on us and make sure we were having a good time and that everything was great forus as well. So far as a new opening it was all very smooth, and I hope it stays that way. This is definitely going to be my newgo to for the Frisco/Plano dining scene. If anything changes I'll let you know. Oh and on another note... I'm not a big drinker(mostly wines), but my husband ordered a drink called "The Hope Diamond". I asked him for a taste and HO-LY-COW it wasabsolutely delicious. So much so, that I actually drank my husband's and he ordered himself another one. I'll insert a pictureif it. The dark looking object in the middle of the drink is a frozen Pea Flower tea diamond ice cube. Amazing! Read more

Over all much better experience than what I expected. Sea food tower is very fresh and tasty Steak is perfectly cooked. Tender... to eat. Lobster bisque is very well flavored Lobster meshed potato is basically lobster bisque pulled on top of meshedpotato The only thing that kind of sucked is the crab meat fried rice. Dessert is perfect much better than most of other highend restaurants we tried. 6 of us had close to $500 bill definitely not cheap. Read more
