We had never heard of Dave's Hot Chicken, we just happened to drive by and thought we should try something new. Elias greeted us... when we walked in. He was very kind and helpful when we asked him about the menu. The food was great! We ordered the mediumslider and the no spice slider. Both of our chicken breasts were very tender and they were seasoned too. The slider buns wereeven really moist and complimented the chicken breast. The french fries were crinkle cut and well seasoned too. Lastly, the artwork on the walls inside of the building was really cool and esthetically pleasing. We will definitely be back! Read more
This place is fire! Love all these Nashville hot chicken places - and Dave?s is legit. Got the two sliders - great buns,... coleslaw, pickles, and nice piece of chicken with your preference for spice level. Seasoned fries were great too. You can alsoexchange a slider for a tender. First time I came here, my partner and I got two separate orders and the portions are HUGE! This time around we spilt the meal... and it was perfect for us. The cashier suggested we try the honey with our sandwiches and it was AMAZING! This location alwayshas seating and is quick to get out orders. Will be back again! Read more
Huge portions! 2 chicken tenders did not sounds like much so we got extra and will be eating them at home. The chicken was... perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fries were great and I even liked the sauce. The pickels allowsthe chicken to be the star of the show. Overall good food, fast service, clean dining room and restrooms. Read more
Yes, the chicken is hot so be sure to spread some honey on your meal. Best to get no hotter than mild menu items to check you... taste buds before getting anything hotter. Be prepared to use lots of napkins kinda messy which makes it a fun meal. BTW: in hotsummer months take advantage of shade fronting Preston Rd. We got two different orders; two sliders and two tenders. We opted toeat the sliders and take the tenders home with honey as leftovers. Only two things to note; no sweetener for iced tea and musicwas too loud. Read more
Great customer service! Simple menu (which i love) i got the medium slider husband got the hot! He said he should of gotten the... medium! Great spicy but not to spicy the hot was HOT! Fried perfectly good crunch and juicy. I love the type of ice they have!Sprite was strong Dave?s sauce is GOOD and especially with the crinkle fires Mac and cheese not my favorite and probablywouldn?t order again! Excellent lunch. Got the #2 Reaper hot and mac n cheese as a side with a tea to drink. Food was hot and fresh. The slaw and... pickles crisp. Friendly service and recommendations from Nayelis. The reaper spice was hot, but not crippling. Recommend lotsof napkins. Will definitely return. Read more
Great food as always, but I wish there was more consistency in the spice levels at Dave?s in general. Sometimes I get Reaper and... it doesn?t taste spicy at all, but sometimes it does. I got two sliders - 1 reaper and 1 extra hot. It was unbearable to eat thereaper. You can tell by just looking at the video how spicy it probably was. I went through 8-10 tissues, 2 bottles of water,and 1 cup of milk and my mouth was still on fire. (Nose too due to all the wiping). I had to save the extra hot slider for thenext day. It BURNED.
