I went here this evening and was not at all disappointed. As this was my first time, they suggested getting the lamb gyro... shawarma wrap. I was impressed with the overall quality. I like that they added bell peppers to the wrap. To add to this, thewhite sauce is fantastic! The service was really good, and they even gave me some more white sauce. Had previously visited CHG near Galleria. Read the great reviews for this location and had to check it out and so happy I did.... Ordered the Manhattan and it did not disappoint! Everything was seasoned, fresh and cooked perfectly. Super generous portionsincluding the famous white sauce. Met the owner and he has every reason to be proud of this restaurant. We went in tonight for the 1st time and were not disappointed!! The place is new and super clean. The owner was an absolute gem... really friendly and takes pride in his shop. We had the chicken shawarma, saffron rice, hummus pita bread sides and Manhattanstyle gyro rice bowl. Everything was really flavorful fresh with fantastic spices. This place is FANTASTIC. Absolutely delicious food. Huge portions. Prices are average. You'll get lesser quality from places... that charge the same or more. If you've never eaten Mediterranean food, this is a great place to get delicious food withoutbeing overwhelmed with menus, go here. I recommend the Manhattan bowl for first timers. It gives you a taste of all their meatsand the falafel. I personally prefer the lamb and the falafel. Their white sauce is to DIE for. I would put this on everythingever. I do get the red sauce on the side to add as little or as much as I want when eating. My husband ordered the beef/lambroll and quite enjoyed it. It was packed with lots of meat and veggies along with white sauce. No red because he specified nored. He doesn't like spice. The chicken samosas were also quite tasty. Honestly best I've had. Not over seasoned. Everythingcame out hot and fresh and made to order. And the staff are very friendly and will help answer any questions. They had noproblem modifying my order to not include onions due to an allergy. I will definitely be back! 10/10. Read more
