They will give... you fish filets that have been sitting under the heat lamp for God only knows how long! Go inside to order. Tell them you wantfresh fried fish. Watch then fry the fish! I love Chicken Express. I've never had issues with the Lake Forest or Main ST stores, but this is my first time coming to the... Plano store. I gave this store 3 stars because their sweet tea tastes like it was made with toilet water. Not sure if its theirice or the water, but I think the water lines or water filter is dirty. Read more
People have their preferences, but in my opinion the tenders with their hot season salt mixed in the gravy is a winning... combination that is better than any of the competitions. Of all the locations in the area, I feel like this spot has the mostconsistency quality and freshest rolls. They're not all equal, they might be franchised. However, if I want fried chickentenders and have the room in my diet, I'll drive pass other Chicken Express and fried chicken spots to get it Jupiter and SpringCreek. I ordered a family meal and they forgot one of the most important staples in the meal, the gravy. I'm disappointed because they... are usually very attentive to everything in an order. Had to eat cold food because it took 30 minutes to get the gravy fromthem. The rolls were different than normal and were over cooked. The fries were different too, and those used to be one of myfavorite things from Chicken Express. Check your order to ensure all of what you ordered is included before you leave the store. Read more
I pre ordered some gizzards over the phone about 10mins prior, pick up the order went to my car I start to indulge. Grab one... crispy nug and took a bite. Then realized something wasn't rite. I spit out disgusting green mold of chicken. I CONFRONTED THEMANAGER AND WAS UPSET WITH HIS RESPONSE AND ACCOUNTABILITY ON THIS MATTER. HE SAID IT WAS FINE. Second time trying Chicken Express different location. This time I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The fish looked better than... it tasted! It tasted more like it wasn?t cooked form a fresh state more like frozen. A bit thin and flimsy for my taste, notmuch crisp happening. The Hush puppies were tasty and the cole slaw wasn?t bad but I?ve had better. I actually like the gizzardsI ordered the first time much better. Read more
