This is our favorite German around. They have a great selection of food and German Beers. We love the extended Octoberfest... Schnitzel Menu. Every time we go they also have live accordion music. Finally tied out the new building. Food was just as good. Owner is still walking around talking to everyone. The space is... different but they brought over all the decor. Lots more space between tables. Owner said music is hard because of the echo, butthey are working on sorting that out. The bar is huge compared to the old space. This is the best Bavarian food I have found in Texas. Their menu changes slightly as the seasons change. They have the staple... Bavarian items. The atmosphere is authentic German. The outside of the building is modern but the inside reminds you of a smalltown German restaurant. The staff is great and Juergan will come around checking on the tables. This restaurant has really good ambiance with someone playing an accordion when we went there Saturday night for dinner. We got... seated right away although it was very busy and the service was good. We enjoyed all of the food that we ordered. The absolute best dining experience and AUTHENTIC German food ever. You cannot find anything of this quality near this area. It... is as if you are in a mini German museum too. The food selection and beer selection is top notch. I would never dream ofcomplaining on pricing. This place deserves every bit of it. The service we received from Ben was amazing. He had greatsuggestions and never steered us wrong. We drove from Frisco to dine here, and it was worth it. Wow, is all I can say. Great service and food. Lots of others felt the same way because it was a full house when we got there.... If I hadn't made reservations I don't think we would have been able to eat (so make sure you make reservations). I grew up inGermany, so I am pretty picky about my German food. The goulash and rouladen were delicious, and the Black Forrest cake was madecorrectly (you wouldn't believe how many restaurants mess up this cake). They also had a big beer selection, draft and bottled.If you like German food, you owe it to yourself to visit. I'll be coming back next time I'm visiting the area. Read more
