I dont get to eat much halal steak living in Texas. So finding this place is a blessing for me! We took the ribeye steak... medium-well and 1/2 lb brisket! I liked it very much! The brisket was really soft melting in your mouth! The steak was juicy aswell!The steak platter will get you two sides, oh also they serve chips and salsa while you wait for the food to come by. Did Imention this is a Bangladeshi restaurant as well - the chef is Bangladeshi! Beef ribs were delicious. Atmosphere is ???????? nice. Why would you charge for pickles, onions, bread and sauce? Then tack on... your 18% automatically without telling me before ordering. I get it you take care of your wait staff. I would?ve tipped 20 +%for great service. But since you made me tip 18% that?s all you?ll get. Do not be deceived by this place's location. Their food is absolutely delicious!! We tried their onion blossom, beef brisket,... rib eye steak, fries, and fried chicken and everything was awesome! Even the steak sides (mashed potatoes and broccoli) weresuper delicious!! Beef brisket was extremely soft and tender and was melting in our mouth. The onion blossom was fried to agolden perfection and was very flavorful. The only negative I have to say is that the fried chicken was too crunchy and not assoft as I would've liked. Steak was also perfectly cooked to a medium well. We would definitely be coming back and trying theirribs and link sandwich this time. Even service was great!! Went to this rather hidden gem of a place in a slow Tuesday evening. And thankfully so... It was rather open with lots of space... and had the opportunity to talk to the host and chef. A proper Texan eatery. A big meat heaven. From brisket, ribs, beef linksto chicken fried steak... It has all your carnivorous dreams in one place. It's a full service restaurant. And service is topnotch. Server takes time to explain the menu, asks your cravings and provides great suggestion based on that. We orderedBlooming Onion for starter, a Medium rare Rib Eye Steak, a pound of brisket, 5 bones of ribs and a Chicken fried steak. Everyfood was absolutely delicious. Steak came with proper grill marks, oozing with juices. Brisket was absolutely spot on and ribswere to die for. Blooming Onion provided a good addition to the meat and House salad fulfilled the need for green. Best part ofthe restaurant is it's available outside seating. One can eat, enjoy the weather if it's pleasant and keep the drinksflowing. They also serve non alcoholic wine and beers. I highly recommend the place and definitely going again. Loved the food! This is a great Texan BBQ experience with full Halal menu. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Although we... live almost an hour away, we will be coming back again. Service can be a bit better. The flame sign on the menu is misleading(it means popular item, but can be easily mistaken for hot / spicy). For steak order, server needs to ask what consistency do wewant (medium, rare, etc.) instead of assuming and providing well-done. When asked for "boxes" for four different entrees, onlyone box was initially given. These are little things, but can make a really good dining experience somewhat uncomfortable.Overall, very good and will be coming back. Read more
