Why wasnt I aware of this dish my entire life !! I had a dish called baledas and there are a tortilla stuffed with a choice of... meat that you want like chicken, steak, or chorizo - with beans cheese and cream and avocado if you like. The food here was ok. We got the steak with onions, flautas and ranchero enchiladas. It was all ok I guess. My boyfriend decided... to grab 2 cakes with our dinner order.. they were made or packaged over 2 weeks ago. Noticed once he got home that one had mold. Read more

El Palacio is a good local spot with pretty good Salvadoran cuisine. It?s on the pricey side for a local place in Plainfield but... it?s worth trying. I do take out from here often and the food is always good. Only down side is it seems that no one speaksEnglish, which may be a hard barrier to get over but luckily the menus have photos. The worse customer service experience ever. I will never be returning to this restaurant. I came in on my lunch break to sit... down and enjoy a quick meal and the waitresses stand around and gossip don?t ask if you would like to place an order, give anattitude if you ask to see the menu, talk about you to each other in spanish if you change anything on your order (I speakspanish so they must not have known I knew what they were saying), and they dont even provide proper utensils. No one is even inhere and with 3 servers I have to chase them down to get anything. Read more

Order through door dash ; I ordered baleadas , pupusas and empandas . Everything was fresh and yummy. The only thing is that... the baleadas needed a little bit more beans and was missing cheese but other than that everything super good. Read more

I ordered twice and twice I got different prices . The third time I came my rice was completely undercooked , my chicken was... undercooked and the ladies there were completely rude . Its expensive and there not consistent with the food quality. Yourbasically taking a chance. do not ask for a refund because you definitely wont get one . Been going there for years. A little too expensive for the food they try to serve you. The cook sometimes messes up the orders.... And there are a couple of girls who know how to make my coffee just the way I like it. The morning crew are not my favoritepeople. The manager in the morning crew is not very pleasant at all. I love the afternoon crew even though they constantly keephiring new people. Other than that I love the fact that they play music and you can charge your phone. The place 9 out of 10 isclean and especially the restroom. Read more

One of the best restaurant I been in the plainfield area. Clean, well organized and polite service. I came for a pick up and... once enter I was immediately helped. Other places just look at you standing but this place I had 3 members ask me for help verypolitely. Definitely recommend the place for anyone that wants great food with an amazing service.
