Just glad I chose it!!! I was looking for a local restaurant not "chain". I realized after I entered there are perhaps 6-10 of... these - so not quite a soul-sucking chain - but some of you out there on Google mapland - may have a chance to try it besidesPlainfield, IN. Yay! Its a really well put together location, indoors and kinda outdoors. Employees are delightful. Heh. Eventhe other customers were pretty upbeat! The selection on the menu is just...hard.to.choose.from!!! I wound up with abacon/avocado scramble, the best "unsweet" Ice Tea, and for fun I ordered 1 pumpkin pancake. Wow! I brought my granddaughter (she was visiting for the week from out of state) We had stopped in this little plaza to get our... nails done for a wedding and happen to see this diner. We have been eating out daily since Sat. This was BY FAR the BEST place.The place was clean. Our waitress Shaylee was as Awesome as the food she served to us. She made my granddaughter feel special(as I had mentioned my granddaughters Birthday was the next day) The food was fantastic. Will Definitely go back. First time visiting. All the food was delicious. The service could use a little bit of help. The food made it to the table... quickly. We got the brunch menu. There is a dinner menu. Got the chocolate cake, it was good a bit dry. Also got the breadpudding it was the best. Read more
Some of the best food I have had in a long time worth every penny and everything was very well seasoned and delicious the... lemon-blueberry bread pudding was out of this world and portions were great on everything and I had the iron city meat loaf andit taste like love it's so delicious. Read more
Ordered the Avocado Scramble Bowl. Upin receiving it realized the hashbrowns were overcooked so I alerted the server and asked... if they would remake my meal without burning the hashbrowns?! The server returned with a plate of hashbrowns and then told menothing was wrong with the rest of my food. ????I can't make this stuff up! Just ridiculous!!May return for another try, onlybecause of the Manager that tried to make the situation right. Read more
Great diner and fast service! We stopped for a quick dinner on our way to see the Eagles concert in Indy. I asked for the cod... blackened instead of battered. They said no problem! Delicious and homemade tartar sauce and slaw! Food was great and I'lldefinitely return! I'll add that the elderly gentleman next to us asked the server if they had beef manhattan since it wasn't onthe menu. He asked the cook and the cook made him one!
