First time in the area. We arrived and were the only 2 customers there at 3pm. Very lonely and slow service. No music playing so... quiet and awkward. The fries were over cooked and hashbrowns tasted old and stale. The young waiter did not know what wasincluded with lunch sandwiches or breakfast omelets. Menu did not have a breakdown or informative very. Place seems run down. Skip this and do other local pubs or restaurants. Read more

Sub par place. Food was decent, but far from high quality. Oj is not fresh squeezed, coffee was terrible, service was lacking... in quality. Overall, would not return for a special trip to breakfast, decent for just passing threw. Read more
Nice portions but a little outdated inside the restaurant.
Our server was very nice . The table is sticky, the beef sandwich if so gross and tastes like cinnamon.. my mother sent her... steak back because it was a salt lick.. please do not spend your money here !! A very unassuming place. Hard to believe that this place has been in Plainfield downtown for so long and I had never visited... until 2021. A real hidden gem. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. There's also currently a Groupon available forthis place that you might want to pick up if you'ree going. Really can't go wrong with this place. It seems like every time I go I have a new story too tell people. Like the time I almost died when I found a piece of tinsel in... my soup just for my waitress too take the soup and still charge me for it ( it was in the middle of the summer).
