We rode our bikes from lock 32 off of clover, down to the basin for lunch. I've been to the pub plenty of times. So I was... expecting delicious food and good service. Well we received all that and more. Our server Mary, was/is the best server I havecome across in a long time. Attentive, got our order correct and fast and even gave the child we were with a free littlecookie. Our meals were hot perfectly cooked. Great place. Portions are large. So, either be very hungry or order something you want to reheat later (I got fried fish and had... to leave a good portion as I didn't want to microwave later in a shared space ????). Service was very quick and responsive. Foodwas interesting and tasty. Read more
