We were back in Rochester for Thanksgiving. Decided on dinner at JoJo’s on Friday. After a drink at the bar we were seated at... our cozy table. Benjamin was the most helpful waiter. Went in on Saturday after a long time away. Had a great meal and outstanding service. The daily cocktail special was very good.... The pizza is not traditional Rochester pizza. It is a great alternative -always look forward to having it. Read more

Went for dinner, sat at the bar on a Saturday evening. Found it to be upscale but casual, great lighting/ambiance. There were... families with kids, couples, groups of people dining and the tasteful music and restaurant acoustics made it totally pleasant.We had the gnocchi with sausage marinara and the shrimp with linguine and both were quite good. Would have liked a piece ofbread or crostini with either. The staff were wonderful. The wines were a little disappointing. The oaked Chardonnay was a bitdry, the red blend was a bit dry, and the riesling was so sweet it tasted like a dessert wine; must have been a fluke as we'vehad great wines there in the past. Been here 3 times...the last time 6 years after the first...excellent service , food and reasonably priced...highly recommended... and also right by the Erie Canal and some additional shops...very cool restaurant and location.... Read more

Went in craving pizza, we ordered the Wild Mushroom pizza and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend. Also I'd like to give... props to all the staff we encountered. Clearly a busy night for them and they did not miss a beat, especially our waiterBenjamin S thank for the exceptional service, polite, apologetic, and attention to detail goes a long way in my book. I have now enjoyed two meals at Jojo’s and feel confident in leaving a review. AMAZING FOOD. I cannot rave enough about their... grilled romaine, the dressing is superb with just enough char on the lettuce. Each visit we ordered the fish special and werenot disappointed. Their mako had me tearing up, it was cooked perfectly and served with an amazing mash! Kid (and mom) approvedfries and Mac and cheese. Decent wine choices and their Bees Knees cocktail is the bomb dot com. Order the fried dough fordessert, trust me. The service is always great, even on a busy Friday night. Can’t wait to go back! We had a fantastic meal at JoJo's. From steak to chicken to pasta, everything was prepared perfectly. We came back again on... our next trip through Pittsford. Tender salmon, flavorful chicken and a steak that was perfectly cooked. This time we addeda bottle of wine from their diverse selection. Yummy all around. Read more

It was a good place to go when you're in the mood for loud, family friendly. We didn't try the pizza but will the next time.... Didn't get pictures of the steak which my daughter loved and the pork chops my husband said were great. The risotta was honestlynot great. The Salmon was good. The duck wings were very sweet so a no for me but the kids and husband enjoyed. Read more
