I live in the area and Shiloh Gastro probably has the best food in the neighborhood (with the exception of $$$$ places like the... Fish Grotto). Most of the other places on Shiloh St are all solid, but SG wins for creativity/quality/value. The octopus dishis a standout, great flavors and very filling. I also like the Philly and there is also a lesser known brunch on Sundays. Thelocation allows for great people watching and the building (the old Soffel residence) is attached to an interesting story fromthe late 1800s. Read more

Good food, nice outdoor deck. Service was very slow and it wasn't very busy.
We were staying in downtown Pittsburgh to see a Penguins game, and we stumbled upon this restaurant after taking the T and the... Monongahela Incline. The menu was great, with plenty of vegetarian options! I got the Impossible burger, which was delicious,and I think my partner got some kind of fish sandwich. The staff was very friendly.
