I just want to start this review by saying this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life. In fact, it was... so bad that this is the first ever review I’ve done because I feel it’s necessary to address how poor the service was.Walked in at 9:15 and didn’t get seated until 10:00. Keep in mind we were the only people waiting to be seated the entiretime. By the time we sat down, we waited another 30 minutes just for nobody to come take our order. I walked up to the bar toaddress the situation where the bartender clearly ignored me until someone from the kitchen came out to tell me that the kitchenis closing and they already called last call for drinks. This would have been understandable if we walked in at 10:30, but wewaited for over an hour with no help and empty tummies. The bar tender who ignored me finally came over to our table and said“since no one else wants to take your order I guess I will. Make it quick.” After that interaction we decided to take ourbusiness elsewhere. I’ve never felt more awkward and uncomfortable in a restaurant. A Pittsburgh staple. I lived here for 45 years before moving away and every single out of town business person wanted to go... here night 1. Gotta get the sammich folks, but don't knock the other items! Double egg and cheese is lovely, and the 2nd mostpopular cheese steak is awesome. Solid food, no complaints there. Excellent wait staff, very attentive, we never waited for anything. So the food was good, the... service was great. The 4 starts instead of five is because the place is kinda dumpy and the front was under construction so itwasn't the same Primanti Bros experience as it should have been. Awesome food at a great price. Family of 5 fed for under $70. Sandwiches are top notch, I'm a big foodie and thought the... selection on the menu and apps/drinks was more than adequate. The server was a blast, she was new but you could tell she had theknack for it and tipped her accordingly. I stopped here on my way through town from MD to grab a Pittsburgher and some bacon cheesy fries.
