Checked off my bucket list. Awful food. The wedding soup was so peppery. I?ve had a lot of wedding soup from many restaurants... and made it. This was just not good and hard to eat. The chicken Romano tasted like it was swimming in lemonade. I ate 2-3bites and just couldn?t. How can you mess up chicken Romano?! The Italian bread and butter was the best. First time touring the city and was pleased I stopped here to eat. The vibe is lovely and our waiter was so helpful and... friendly. The food is bursting with flavor. With any genuine Italian food, the sauce is everything and Pleasure Bar nailed it. Read more
We had lunch here during Bloomfield Little Italy Days. Despite all the delicious looking and smelling street food we wanted to... sit and eat in air conditioned comfort. Very nice inside and the service was good and friendly. We started with the stuffedmushrooms with a very cheesy alfredo sauce. Excellent! We had a hot sausage sandwich and a chicken parmesan sandwich. Both verygood. Excellent marinara sauce on both and the slightly toasted buns were perfect. I visited this restaurant once years ago. Just yesterday I ordered take-out and it was a great decision! The man who took my... order over the phone was nice and made sure to verify my order before we hung up. My food was ready within 5 minutes of myarrival to pick up the food and it was steaming hot! Everything was wrapped perfectly so that it would not spill. There werecondiments, silverware, and plenty of napkins. I highly recommend Pleasure bar! Nice Italian food with great service! Nice veal - I can feel the juicy meat jumping inside my mouth, squeezing and bouncing back... and forth. The servant is also really nice and enthusiastic, even if this is only her first day serving alone. We went dining at8:30 on a Friday night and there was no waiting btw. I also appreciate the Italian wedding soup - way better than the once Ireceived from Giant Eagle. Read more
Good place; food was enjoyable, though I'd have preferred a little more spice (garlic, basil). Really good mozzarella sticks and... fried eggplant in the parmesan. No opinion on the wedding soup. Pasta could have been more al dente. Overall, enjoyed ourvisit; thanks, folks! Read more
